The gray colored adapter to the hose on one side of the attachment was missing. It’s an already opened package. Since I had a spare I decided to keep it and continue using it. The product however works well.It’s unscrupulous dealers like this that give a bad name to the product

Installed on Hardie board. Used longer screws to be able to anchor into plywood underneath Hardie board. The triangle design for the screw placement does not allow for screwing into studs.

I was concerned when I saw the hose came without the ends attached but the locking system was simple and intuitive and I had the whole thing set up and connected to my garden faucet in about 10 minutes.

This hose reel is well made, a bit pricey but worth the money.
