Quality of the tap not upto mark
The picture shows the state of the tap hardly a few months after purchase. This type of product is purchased not only for its functional purpose but also for aesthetics. As can be see it has failed on the latter. The paint on the tap lever seems to very easily come off. This is surprising as it is a lift-up based system and not even a twist system where one can suspect excessive human pressure. Even so these finishes should be built to last. Seems to be very thin coat of paint. Functionally it seems to be fine for now. Have not tried using warranty to get it sorted because who will cover the plumber costs and hassel as well as necessity to get a temporary tap ! Does the company have anything to say about the poor quality?
