Great coverage
Went on easily Needed two coats and looked amazing when it was dry Dried to a sheen finish and I can damp wipe the table top if needed after using. Has had plenty of use since doing and stood up well to everything.

Great wood effect
This stuff is great but depending on your wood you will get a different result. Pine seemed to take the most coats. At 4 coats compared to other wood that only needed 1 or 2 coats. Some areas do come out patchy too so they require some touching in which is a pain. But overall I love the finish as it is wipe clean and a great colour

Apply with a cloth
I bought this product for our banister and window seal when I undertook the task of decorating the house upon me. What previously was on looked like a clear solvent based varnish that had gone yellowish. I sanded the old varnish and followed the you tube tip to apply the stain/varnish with a foam brush and then wipe with a cloth. The foam brush left too much product and it was a nightmare to take the excess off. I then followed the product's own instructions to use a paint brush. I used a very soft one that I use for chalk paint on furniture. It had better results than the foam brush but definitely not ideal. I then just used a cloth and that worked like a treat. Apply in very small sections like you would apply moisturizer on your hands. Not too much, as much as it can absorb and don't go over and over too many times. Apply enough so that 2-3 times over with the cloth will be enough. Leave it to dry for a little and apply again. I must have gone over my window seal and bannister 7-8 times over a week. Top tip, it dries in seconds so make sure to wipe off any spillage immediately. The end result is amazing! The solvent type varnish seams to sit on the wood. This one seems to penetrate and give it a subtle glow from within. It looks like a quality piece of furniture now. I could not recommend it more but only apply with a cloth.
