An Entire 1440P Gaming PC for the Price of one RTX 4090
I normally build my own gaming computers, but when EVGA said "nope" to NVIDIA and left the GPU market entirely, which was followed by the RTX 4090 dropping in at a "modest" $1600, I knew I had a problem. Sourcing my own individual components for current gen hardware was going to be too expensive for my tastes. As I researched I noticed a common thread: buying a prebuilt might be the way to go depending on what components you want.I noticed this Skytech gaming PC on sale for Black Friday. It was $1600 marked down from $1700, with an RTX 3080. As if this writing, an RTX 3080 still averages $800. That leaves a delta of $800 for the remaining system components. An AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is roughly $250 on Newegg (Amazon doesn't have it in stock.) Subtracting the CPU leaves you $550 for the case, motherboard, fans, ram, and SSD (the m371 1 TB m.2 in this system is roughly $100), and of course the assembly. Everything considered, I think this is a great value, especially when you consider that an RTX 4090 alone is also $1600, the price I paid for the whole system. Even at $1700, I think it's a good value.Because I build my own systems, I hadn't researched prebuilts and had not heard of Skytech. I did some research and learned they are a legit company based in the U.S. My hero, Long-Haired Steve at Gamers Nexus, reviewed one of their prebuilts last year and gave them the nod approval for build quality. If you follow Gamers Nexus at all, you know they commonly savage prebuilts. While I can cobble together a system, it has never turned out as nice as what I received here. The cable management is lovely, as are the included extras, like guides and extra case screws. I ended up needing those screws because of a Skytech error. Whomever assembled the system did not install the retention screws for the RTX 3080. This is a heavy card, and to be honest, I was terrified at the prospect of the system being shipped and thrown around by UPS with an unsecured GPU. Thankfully, Skytech uses expandable foam to secure the interior, which was necessary because my box arrived partially crushed.I slotted and secured the GPU (it was partially unseated) and everything booted up fine. My 3DMark benchmarks are excellent, and I also used 3D Mark stress tests to test temps using HWMonitor. The system runs quite cool. I have also been gaming on it of course and the performance and temps have likewise been great.I game at 1440P and the RTX 3080 is so far excellent. Would my FPS be higher with an RTX 4090? Of course, but I think a 4090 is overkill at 1440P and there is zero chance of me spending $1600 on a 4090. Nvidia makes great GPUs but we are now paying the price for their effective monopoly. I would have picked a more feature rich motherboard, and one with more M.2 slots, but I made a reasonable compromise to upgrade. The included MB is fine, but it's an older, OEM only Gigabyte board that lacks a manual. Bios updates are also not readily available for that reason. The newest BIOS was only a few months old and Skytech had already flashed it to the MB which was great attention to detail.Skytech also has great customer service. Shout out to Daniel, who understood my terror at the GPU being unsecured in the case. I decided to call customer support even though the system was able to POST and appeared to be running fine. I left a message, mostly expecting no one to even call back since my message indicated the system was working.Nevertheless, Daniel called me back, and gently held my hand as he reassured me that he understood why I called to report it. Daniel was clearly based in the U.S. (which I do not take for granted anymore) and did not hurry me off the phone. He documented the issue in case any problems manifest in the near future related to the GPU. I agree with his assessment that if any MB pins were bent I would be having problems already.Based on the current market, I figure I paid a modest extra price for the system to be pre-assembled. That modest price is worth it to me to avoid the terror of maybe bending a CPU pin when I build my own. Honestly, building a PC is not that hard, but I do appreciate once again having a CS number to call, having a PC warranty, and the professional build quality which certainly exceeds my abilities (GPU retention screws notwithstanding.)When it's next time to upgrade, I will certainly check out Skytech again.

A review about the products supplied by the company, not the individual parts.
So, im gonna start off by saying this computer works - my model : Skytech Shiva Gaming PC Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7GHz, RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X, 16GB DDR4 3200, 1TB NVMe SSD, 750W Gold PSU, AC WiFi, Windows 10 Home 64-bit -- HOWEVER this review will be over the products manufactured by Skytech, which means i cannot include the CPU made by Ryzen, the RTX made by Nvidia, the RAM made by Another company (unknown) As for the CPU fan... that could be theirs im unsure, The computer Runs well and came with what was advertised (mostly) My biggest complaints - and i know its being picky but at this price there are some expected things - The Case and Fans are nice with easily removable sides, the glass did not come with a protective film however and got scratched during shipping, the materials that were placed inside the computer to keep things safe are a great idea, but they got stuck behind the GPU, the fan, and even a cord i almost didnt see while removing them, The operating system is advertised as Windows 10, but is actually Windows 11 i dont mind but windows 11 has some problems and there was no option or update to it meaning it was installed already when i received it, The extra drive ports at the top of the case are a great addition... OR WOULD BE if they had hot slot hookups! instead they are just plastic trays with no SATA or power cords to them, which was a hassle to untangle the mess of cords just jammed into the top of the case area out back to find the power plugs, not to mention i had to find my own SATA cords, though they didnt say any came included by for a marketed top end PC building company they should include 2 with any case that has the capacity to have that many, most people buying this rig likely are migrating some drives from old computers, The cable management looks alight from the front, but like i mentioned the cords where just jammed into the back area and when connecting the extra drives its hard to put the side panel back on, the fans are amazing in the case, but LOUD not clunky but they are going turbo, its alright but compared to most systems that are whisper quite this one just blows, no joke they are going so high the room drops 5 degrees when the PC is on, weirdest thing, the RGB is not great on them however, the Motherboard has no aura, and the Fans while good, don't change colors very well, like changing them to a flat orange makes them pink... along with the case front, and the colors are all weird, not a big deal, the worse part is the program included to manage the RGB is horrid, as soon as i opened the program the lights started going crazy they are all synced (which is bad!) so any transitional affects just make them blip in and out, you cant address them individually or unsync them in any way, The power button is a bit weird on the case its part of the plastic that glows a neat idea but in practically its made my system sleep a few times, cat runs into it, bump it with my leg, headset knocks it when i hang it on the side, its a very touchy button and it sticks out a bit, a design that looks cool, but would be better if it had some kind of inlet to prevent hitting it, The CPU they chose to put in it is good, but its the cheapest model, a Ryzen 7 5800 would be a better choice in the same AM 4 socket, and match the rest of the PCs tech as the 5 is rather outdated at this point, The CPU fan seems to be working great, i cant complain but again for the price of the setup a Dual CPU fan system would be advised, overall the computer does what i want and works within its capacity, the GPU is the biggest item in here and parts wise this computer would cost 1700 to put together yourself, so On sale this computer is entirely worth it, otherwise, not really i have my complaints but its put together well and treated with respect.

Standout Customer Service
4.5 stars (rounded up to 5).The PC hardware itself probably only deserves 4/5 stars, but my support experience from Skytech (through Amazon) was simply excellent, so I’m happy to bump up my rating to 5 stars.Let me also preface my comments by saying that I don’t usually purchase pre-built computers, and I consider myself a DIY PC snob. I’ve only purchased one other pre-built in my life, but I've built more than a dozen. I’m always going to have one quibble or another when it comes to a pre-built PC from any company, but 150+ consecutive days of striking out on a RTX 3080 is enough to drive anyone crazy. So I decided to take a chance on this, and after a week of ownership (and emails with Skytech customer service), I can say that I’m pleased with my purchase.I was going to make a dedicated pros/cons list, but I’ll simply list my comments without necessarily strictly categorizing them into “pros” or “cons.” Some of the points are more nuanced with a mix of praise and criticism.* Excellent packaging with protective foam inside and out.* Beautiful white chassis (In Win 101) + 3x ARGB fans with remote fan control. If I were building this PC from scratch, this would not be my case of choice. Unlike cases with a mesh front, the In Win’s solid front panel restricts airflow. However, I think it’s undeniable that this particular case/fan combo is pretty great in the looks department.* Fast Ryzen 5 5600X processor. They could have easily gone with a cheaper 3600 or 3600X from the previous generation, so kudos to Skytech for sticking with the latest (Ryzen 5000/Zen 3).* Good 1TB NVMe m.2 SSD (WD Blue SN550). This is not necessarily the fastest nor best SSD available today, but it is plenty adequate for a gaming system. Users with specific endurance or speed requirements (for extremely large file transfers, etc) should probably swap out the SSD.* Zotac RTX 3080. My particular GPU model happens to be a Zotac Trinity OC, and I see that others have reported receiving PNY models in their systems. Again, similar to the SSD, this is not the best RTX 3080 on the market, but it is certainly not the worst either.* Cheap motherboard (ASRock B550M/AC). This is one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) B550 motherboards on the market. It’s too bad that they used a mATX motherboard in a case that’s compatible with a regular ATX-sized motherboard. But even the worst AM4 motherboard these days is adequate for most users, and I do understand that they have to cut costs somewhere.* 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3600 RAM. Let’s start with the positives: Not all pre-built companies care about setting up their systems with proper RAM configurations. E.g. some of the larger OEMs will only install 1x8GB module in single-channel mode. Thankfully, this PC came with the memory installed in the correct motherboard slots for dual-channel operation (Slots 2+4). That being said, the RAM would have been a huge demerit in my book if not for my excellent experience with Skytech CS. Even though the memory is rated for DDR4-3600 speeds, the RAM arrived manually under-clocked by 200MHz in the BIOS to DDR4-3400. It seems this was done because the system would not POST at DDR4-3600 with XMP enabled. So even though the RAM was obviously faulty (or incompatible with the motherboard), the technician had decided to install it with a lower speed anyway. Thankfully, Skytech sent a replacement kit right away and it hasn’t had any issues.* Gigabyte 750W Gold power supply. Again, not my power supply of choice due to some glaring manufacturing flaws, but it is adequate for this system. Actually, I had been expecting an ugly PSU with ketchup and mustard cables, so I’m relieved this PSU has flat, black cables. Skytech actually neglected to include several non-modular cables with it. After I raised the issue with Skytech CS, they sent replacement along with the replacement RAM kit. Great, responsive customer service!* Good build quality overall and impeccable cable management. My only gripe is that some of the cables (USB/RGB) were hot-glued to the motherboard to ensure that they weren’t damaged or dislodged during shipping. GamersNexus would have a field day with this. There has to be another way.To wrap things up, this is a perfectly good PC. If there is anything noteworthy about it, it would be the standout customer service. I traded emails with Skytech CS for a week, and I don’t think there was a single time when they didn’t respond within a day. Bravo, Skytech!

Bought for GPU+CPU / parts roulette appears fine
Really wanted RTX series card. Due to the tragic times, pre-builts are where they're at, and if cost isn't much matter to you, this one has what it takes, my opinion.Few days worth experiences:Day one was spent like any other new PC (configurations, downloads, updates, etc); played a few games off of my external - one of them was 7 Days to Die. Upon loading into a map for the first time - my entire computer crashed and restarted itself. 2nd attempt had me stumped, I thought it would do it again but it threw me right in game. I played for about 15 minutes being in awe of the visuals (I'm coming from a laptop with 2gb vram) and exit the game myself. I set it to download some games overnight.Day two was spent finding out 7 Days to Die had decided it didn't want to load me into the main menu anymore - computer crash and restart... wtf? SCUM (another game) same issue, couldn't make it into main menu, crash/restart itself. Rainbow Six Siege seemed to play alright, made it through one round and then - crash/restart itself...Later on day 2, I had experienced the awesome visuals and NO crashing in some titles: StarCraft 2, Minecraft Bedrock Edition with RTX, Grand Theft Auto V, and ECO (surprisingly no problems with that one). So I began to wonder what was up to date or not. Checking the motherboard bios, it was a little outdated with version 1.2 ((from September of last year) and computer checklist included in box indicated it was assembled earlier this year) with updates having released since then.- upgrade motherboard bios CHECK- upgrade graphics card drivers CHECK- win10 already updated =\ okayNo problems since. 7 Days loads up, plays, SCUM loads up, been playing that quite a bit now. Resident Evil 2 and all my other games, no problems anymore, no more mysterious crashing. If anyone else is having any crashing issues, just keep an open mind like I did and understand if you seen it already 'working its magic' then it shouldn't be the rig, just some software setbacks. Check and be sure your proper model of motherboard before downloading incorrect drivers.Roulette parts I had gotten with mine:2x8gb T-Force Vulcan ZGigabyte RTX 3080 (seen some reviews of some people got Zotac, MSI or PNY) - reviews of the Gigabyte show lower or mid range temps, which is great for me.ASRock B550M/ac motherboardVery clean in my opinion.Comes with keyboard and mouse, probably will save mouse for emergencies, or until my G700 (11 years old now) dies. You can edit the RGB lights in the bios (colors and types of lighting). I changed mine to neon/white, so don't be fooled by the pics, you do get full RGB.Day 3+ on so forth from here - feels like I couldn't be happier.

Good solid computer.
So I bought this cpu a little over a year ago and it still beast modes most games at Ultra or High settings. I did however upgrade the Ram to 64 gig ddr5 ram. While I think at the moment with the 4x gpu's this computer seems to be a little overpriced atm but all in all I am very happy with this product and I have gotten a lot of use out of this machine. Would buy from these guys again.
