My wife loves candles, as a husband my role is to try and keep her supplied with candles that don’t run me out of the house. While we agree on several, I know that when I assume room temperature there will be an olfactory symphony in the house with several new scents.That said this is one of the candles that we both love. It is a clean crisp smell that doesn’t overpower but also makes its presence known. We have bought several and in fact believe that this is one that we have come every other month on subscribe and save.The candle also looks like a quality candle. We Recycle the glass container and refill with bulk wax. The label pulls off easily and leaves no residue. One thing that happened when we burned one of these brand new was that it slightly overflowed. I don’t know why it happened and it has never happened again.

I love this scent - very fresh and clean. It is also especially nice pre-holiday, although I begin burning this as early as October. Everyone compliments the smell when I come over. The clean/fresh scent makes it good to use every day without overly saturating my apartment. I love how long the burn time is - I've had it burning all day (7am-11pm) the last few days and it isn't even half-way gone yet. I also appreciate the soy based (vs Paraffin), which I've understand to be better for long-term respiratory health (and safer for pets for the same reason). Glad to have found this sold on Amazon so I can keep a steady stream of these coming!!

I like this candle. It is a 2nd Archipelago Botanicals candle that I have ordered, and what is interesting is that the name doesn't correspond to the actual smell but serves as the "cover design". This candle definitely does not smell like birch, and birch does not have a strong smell - birch juice is another story; it has a distinctive mellow taste if you have ever tried it.. So in a way I was fooled into thinking that I was going to get a birch-smelling candle. I got a strong smelling juniper/pine candle instead! This is when I realized the meaning of the name! The experience is pleasant though.Anyways, just to share my 1st experience with the Archipelago, the 1st candle that I got was named Verbena, and it took me forever to decipher the name - because the smell is nothing like a "pussy-willow", which is what "verba" means in Russian. Finally, I have realized that it is a code name for Yerba Buena. These guys from Archipelago whoever they are really work on their product' names!

My mom has had this candle for a few years, but when I finally moved out into my own place this was one of my first purchases. It smells so fresh and clean, I get compliments every time someone is over my apartment. It’s also a very reasonably sized candle and lasts a long time. Very chic design and a highly aesthetic appeal. 10/10

My daughter had this candle and I loved it. It was a bit expensive, but definitely worth it because of the fragrance and also the many hours that this candle will burn.

Be sure you burn the candle for the recommended time to avoid “ tunneling “. This candle I much too expensive to allow that to happen. The first time you light it plan to be at home for a while as you should let it burn for at least 3 hours.

I am a big fan of Archipelago candles, great scents and quality. However, last one I ordered was with some defect. The glass was missing some of its wax, as you can see in the photos.Really disappointing, especially after Archipelago reduced the weight of this type of candle from 14oz to 10oz.

Scent was ok but burned extremely fast for a candle in the $40 price range. Poor value
