1.5" (38mm) Reversible Belt Buckle Replacement Belt Buckle Heavy Duty

I got this buckle to replace the buckle on my 35mm Nike Carbon Fiber reversible belt. It is slightly larger (38mm), much sturdier, and I like the color and texture of this one over the plain glossy black original. I was disappointed that the spindle broke on the original buckle, although it was relatively new, but glad I could salvage and upgrade the belt with this unit. I'm impressed that it is secured by four Allen screws vs. the original two flat-head screws. I was really able to torque the new screws much tighter than the originals. The new buckle even came with the necessary tools and extra screws to make the changeover easy!

I had an expensive black sting ray belt that came with a slide buckle that wouldn't stay in place. I quit wearing it since it came loose every time. This buckle solved it without shortening the belt. It came with a punch tool for creating the belt holes and a tool for tightening the 4 screws that hold the belt on. It even had two extra screws in case you drop one. Very sturdy and well made. Looks good too!

I had a thick Timberland reversible belt but needed to replaced the broken swivel buckle. The belt fit fine into this replacement buckle but had a slightly different clasp unit. My old buckle used a swivel clamp clasp secured the belt to the buckle. This buckle has 4 tiny set screws and require an allen wrench (provided) to secure the belt to the buckle. The set screw worked perfectly fine and cut into the leather without any need for precutting. Impressed by the overall quality and worth the couple of bucks extra compared to other replacements I saw. Hope the swivel pin holds up - it didn't on my Timberland.

Too Big ... However it did look nice if you wanted a buckle larger than 1.5" described. I never installed on my belt since it was way too big 2x3+ inches (see pic). Therefore i can not comment on durability.

I repaired a reversible belt. The original buckle broke and the rest of the belt was still in good shape. Took a chance on repairing it myself and this buckle did the trick. It seems to be of better quality then the buckle that came with the belt. I'm happy with the purchase.

It came with a manual hole punch & an extra set of screws, along with an allen wrench to tighten screws. It's a lot more studier than the original buckle. I'd recommend this buckle to anyone.
