Exciting workbook for our kids
Two of kids struggle with exective functioning. We've been looking at different things of how to help them with some of the issues they are struggling with as school can be difficult as they can't do certain things other kids find easy to do, e.g. how to start a task, what needs to be done next etcSo we've been looking for ways to help them and this book was/is the answer to that!My kids loved the mission and didn't really realize that it is work. Most of it what's in the book was easy to understand for them. There are some longer text parts in there, where they struggled a bit (they are 9 years old, but function more on a 6 to 7 year old level) and so the longer bits made it difficult for me to keep their attention. But they LOVED the whole mission of collecting 8 crystals for a portal (totally spoke to one of my kids as he is ALL about crystals and portals!).The only thing that would make this book better would be if the book came with 8 crystals and a portal!!

Enjoyable
My daughter loves it, not sure whether she is learning how to manage herself but she has really enjoyed working through the book

Amazing book for adults and kids!
This book is beautifully set out with amazing animation and storyline. Very motivating for neurodiverse kids whom find executive function skills tricky to understand. I really love the rewards and how the different skills are broken down in such a motivating way! I’m both a teacher and mum, I will be recommending this both for my students and have been using it with my daughter who is visually motivated to help her.

Very useful and nicely presented book
This book presents lots of useful information in a step by step format. It breaks executive skills down and explains them really clearly. It covers subjects such as planning, prioritising, and scheduling. It is presented in a lovely format where you journey through planets to win crystals. This is a bit babyish for my 11 year old, but it is perfect to do together with my 8 year old. I even learned a few skills myself.

Great for helping kids to prioritise!
This book is a great guide to help parents support their kids to learn to improve executive functioning skills. The overwhelming feeling that ND kids experience when they don’t know how to break down tasks causes all sorts of emotional problems. This book will children learn coping mechanisms to prevent those situations from arising. Highly recommend!
