A rugged man like me needs a die hard ice cream scoop
I don't want to say too much, but let's just say that I spend a lot of time in the forest with other guys with full beards prepping for the inevitable collapse of society. We know that if a piece of our kit won't survive a good stomping then it has to go, just like a pet chinchilla. So with all the cheap dime store schools out there, I was worried that ice cream wasn't going to be able to be part of my pride's fallout shelter plan. Then I found this tactical beast. I'm confident that it can not only scoop super frozen ice cream, but that I could also catch a bullet out of mid air with it if need be. Hoping things don't come to that, but I'm glad to have my kabar scoop in case they do. And let's just say that rum rain is back on the menu at the fort again :)

Great quality and you’ll never have to buy another ice cream scoop again!
Very durable. We bought because our ice cream scooper’s were always breaking. We have had it for a long time now, no rust, and probably will never have to buy another, lol! Definitely worth the money and definitely recommend.

It's plastic
Okay, that's on me for not carefully reading the Product Information section of the page which does list the material as plastic, but it costs more than a bunch of metal ones and I expect a certain level of quality from KA-BAR, so in my head I was ordering a metal scoop.Plus side, I guess, it's dishwasher-safe? Downside, I feel like I'm gonna break this thing. We'll see how it holds up, I might update my review more positively in the future if it surprises me, but right now I'm expecting the neck to snap the first time I dig into a tub of sherbet with it.
