Fenwick Eagle Telescopic Trolling Fishing Rods

I've been using two of these rods to troll light lures (5cm and 7cm) for well over a year. These rods are much more sensitive than the normal glass trolling rods I had been using. As an added bonus they are a bit lighter too, which helps if you like to hold the rod while trolling. I liked these enough that I bought another recently, for a back up.

It is a quality rod that feels solid and responsive.

Like the rods, however, the reel seat broke on one of them when mounting a reel. However, the distributor sent me a replacement. Good service. 3 stars was for the broken reel seat. Hopefully they will stay in tact from now on. Nice rods though.

Real nice. Handles Planer boards,bottom bouncers and all trolling applications. Fits in boat nice too as I have a 16'10" older Lund with no rod storage.

Nice looking rods, great price and worked great.

2 stars only because my first one is still going strong, this second one, after maybe an hour of pulling a 000 dipsy

Purchased the Fenwick telescopic rod on 6/14/21, used it 3 times, when putting the reel on to use on 4th fishing trip, the cork around the screw on reel seat broke all the way around. Trying to contact Fenwick.

Pulled in a 25lb king salmon with one of these. Light but strong.

Best rod for the price, fantastic action for trolling walleyes and lake trouts.
