I used this at a packaging facility, for powdered agriculture fertilizer. The filter provided clean smelling air, and was not to hard to draw through. I like that it came with two cotton pre-screens per filter. Filters are good until you begin to smell odor. Then change out.

Fit the mask and filters great!

These came packaged in an airtight container and with a built in holder for the added layer of filtration attached to the cartridges. The add-on filter is a little different from the 3M p100 filter add-ons I am used to that are kind of like a solid spongey piece. These have pleats like an AC filter or similar.They seem to work well - I did not smell anything while using them or feel any discomfort after.Since they are not official, NIOSH approved filters, I think they will be reserved for situations that do not pose too much of a threat to my health, but they're nice to have - especially for those situations where I want to do something immediately and if I didn't have a filter on hand I'd probably just toss on a regular face mask and do it without adequate protection.

These are absolute trash and do not work. We had to pause a painting job to go buy the 3M brand filters because these were letting in fumes. Terrible for your health and do not work as they claim. DO NOT BUY.

One of the caps that holds filter into mask was not properly molded and would not screw in tightly to mask.

Product works

I use a full face dust mask in my woodworking shop when using power saws and sanders. These attached to my generic mask and I went to work. The toughest job I typically do (solely based on air quality impact) is sanding spanish cedar. The smell of spanish cedar is STRONG (and also a little toxic...) and penetrates anything less than a full face mask with filters like these. I smelled nothing, I tasted nothing, I felt nothing - normally not a good thing but in this case it's perfect. The carbon seems to do well against even strong woodshop odors like the cedar, various finishes like lacquer and urethane. The filter media catches dust very well. These are a great, economical replacement filter set.
