Awesome Kayak Cart!!I have a heavy fishing kayak and I needed something that was more sturdy and supportive than my current Malone cart. I saw this one by Best Marine and decided to take a chance on it even though it had no reviews. This thing is great! Super easy to assemble right out of the box. Only takes a couple of minutes to put together. The rails can be adjusted from side to side to fit the grooves on the bottom of my kayak. There’s also two different height options. Once adjusted to my kayak, it fits like a glove every time. The rails hold the kayak in place and prevent it from twisting or falling off the cart when I’m going over bumps or taking turns. The wheels are made of plastic and are large enough to handle most types of terrain. It also comes with two straps that hold my kayak in place, although I never find the need to use them. Overall, I have no complaints. This thing is a beast. Super strong and durable. Makes it much easier to get from my truck to the water. There’s lots of cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve been looking for a cart to haul my fishing kayak. It’s a Pescador Pilot 12’ and weighs in the 100 pound range decked out. My “regular” carts just weren’t sturdy or steady enough to haul it loaded with gear. This Best Marine cart has solved those concerns! It was ‘5 year old simple’ to assemble and adjust. I purchased the all-terrain wheels rather than the balloon wheels based on the desert terrain surrounding me. Durability has yet to be determined but it’s very well built using quality materials. I expect it to last for quite some time.

This is not the only kayak caddy I've tried, but it is the most sturdy. The drawback for me is that it doesn't break down small enough to stow on board my kayak for the ride. I would either need to leave the boat by the water and return the caddy to the car or lock the caddy to a tree by the water with a bike lock. I opted to get a different caddy that folds up so it can go with me, but none of the fold-up small ones will match how sturdy this one is.This one will reside at home for moving things around and not be the one I use when going to the reservoir to paddle. It's well made, durable, but can't fold up.
