Q: how often do you have to apply?

The label says: "Treat Every other week. Use 6 drops per 100 gallons of water. Use to prevent mosquitoes from breeding in small water gardens and other areas where standing water accumulates." There is no mention of treating daily. It's once every two weeks. Using it daily would kill everything in your pond. "Mr or Ms. Amazon Customer" who answered earlier saying to apply it daily most likely is mistakenly answering a question regarding some other product, or, they find some sick humor in causing people to kill all their pet fish. This product is toxic and must be used in accordance with instructions on the label.

I got the powder yesterday and was hoping that I will get the liquid too.

It doesn't mention dragonflies or other critters that lay eggs in water. It won't harm the adult dragonflies but I'm not sure the eggs that adults lay in treated water would survive to become adults.
