Wow.... Just WOW!
I'm always a bit a skeptic when it comes to electronics, but using a new ASUS Vivobook after my home PC died and being limited to one screen was a drag. I saw this one and took a chance. OMG! The screen is lightweight, ridiculously easy to set up and the display is beautiful. No image degradation when viewed from an angle, the built-in stand is handy, and with the included HDMI to Mini HDMI and power adapter, you can connect an Xbox or other source if you want to make your game system portable. I've even tried it out by hooking it to my Motorola 5G Stylus 2023 to watch movies. Hooked to a USB-C from a laptop, it gets its power from the connection using only one cable. Top it all off, the ASUS Vivobook and the new auxiliary monitor fit in my laptop bag with room left over where my old laptop had to squeeze in. Amazing piece of tech for the price.

Great, bright, light-weight, easy to use, good stand, one cord.
Fabulous. My last portable screen died after about 5 years, hoping this one last longer. Bright, clear, stand is good. Plugs right in and starts up. One has to download their driver for use as an extended screen, works without for duplication. Powered easily from my old USB-A laptop, screen clear and bright. Very light-weight, included pouch a nice touch. Highly recommended. (and I bought a different stand and case).

A Stellar Addition to My Tech Gear: ASUS ZenScreen Ink 14" Portable Touchscreen Monitor
I've come across a wide range of reviews regarding this product on Amazon - some on the harsher side, to say the least. However, I beg to differ and find myself truly enamored by the capabilities of the ASUS ZenScreen Ink 14” 1080P Portable Touchscreen Monitor. This monitor sports a compact, sleek design that beautifully complements my ASUS ROG gaming laptop. Its glossy facade and smart features effortlessly elevate my workspace aesthetics and functionality. I sought a touchscreen feature, which my laptop lacks, and this product didn't disappoint. It's remarkably bright and responsive, delivering a smooth, intuitive user experience that I am enjoying. The inclusion of a pen with the monitor was a pleasant surprise and what's even more impressive, it worked straight out of the box! No cumbersome setups or frustrating tech hitches. This simplicity has indeed made my user experience more pleasant and exceeded my expectations.I must admit, I would have appreciated it if the price tag were a little friendlier. I probably should have waited until Prime Day, anticipating a potential price drop, but I needed a quick solution before delving into my studies. Despite the price, I do not harbor any regrets. The value that this monitor provides far outweighs the cost, and in retrospect, I wouldn't hesitate to make the same purchase.Overall, I can confidently affirm that the ASUS ZenScreen Ink 14” 1080P Portable Touchscreen Monitor is a worthwhile investment, promising quality, and convenience.

Dream come true for minimalists
This monitor has exactly one input connection - USB C. It powers the monitor, and does the double duty of accepting the video signal. I absolutely love that it requires no separate power cable. It weighs less than 3 pounds, comes with a slick protective case, outputs 1080p 60hz, and has a ton of display options to boot. As an amazing bonus, the back of the monitor has a 1/4" threaded mounting hole compatible with tripod style stands/arms. It's a dream come true for the minimalist who likes to travel light and keep cables to a minimum. Some caveats you'll have to accept about this monitor:1) It's a USB display, and accepts 2 different modes: DP alt mode (USB-C to USB-C from a compatible source like thunderbolt), or USB-A to USB-C using a DisplayLink driver. It's not exactly plug and play, unless you're using the right source devices. For example, ChromeOS is fully compatible with both video modes out of the box, no driver downloads required. Base Linux only works with DP alt mode (supposedly there are DisplayLink drivers for Linux, but I was never able to get them working). Windows works with both modes, but requires a driver download if using USB-A to USB-C with DisplayLink.2) Not every USB-C output port is the same!! This is a lesson I learned specifically from owning this monitor. Thunderbolt ports, and most laptop USB-C ports, will output the native DP alt mode signal required by this monitor. However, a basic USB-C output from your desktop PC is not a thunderbolt port, and will not work with this monitor. In the case of most desktop PCs you'll need to use the 2nd option I described above with DisplayLink drivers.3) Using multiple of these monitors simultaneously is very finnicky. Especially if using DisplayLink driver mode. I spent more time than I'd like to admit attempting to get 2 of these working from a powered USB hub on my monitor which then connects to my desktop through USB-A and laptop through USB-C. It was a nightmare. One of them would always either turn on and off (not enough power for 2 monitors), or if I got it working the mouse movement was super janky. I ended up changing my goals and using only 1 of these, which works great.4) Do not buy these for gaming. They are simply not intended for that usage, and you'll notice input lag. These are really intended as "productivity monitors", and not as your MAIN monitor. All of that being said, even with the major troubleshooting issues I described above, I absolutely love these and would recommend 100% for people looking for a minimalist, portable, productivity monitor. There aren't many on the market which are fully powered by USB, and in that niche market you won't find a better solution than this one. I've had 2 of these for a couple years now, and they're still going strong even after travelling on flights with me multiple times. Great little monitors.
