It's a solid build
I would rank this tool firmly in the heavy-duty category. The weight of the hammer itself gives a good indication of its solid build quality. You can feel the sturdiness in hand, which adds a lot of confidence when using it. The attachment of the metal head to the fiberglass handle seems very secure, and there are no signs of looseness or weak points, which is reassuring for long-term use.The handle grip is well-designed, offering both comfort and control, making it easy to maneuver even during extended tasks. It feels ergonomic and sits nicely in the hand, reducing strain while working on tougher materials.One of the standout features for me is the built-in nail holder. It’s quite handy for starting nails with one hand, allowing for easier positioning and alignment. This is my first time using a nail holder feature, so I’m still getting the hang of it, but I can already see how useful it will be in the long run for getting a quick and accurate start.

Overbuilt and awesome
Strong and heavy head. Comfortable antivibe handle. When i was younger i never had any tingling in my fingers, but as the years have caught up to me, my pinky tingles when hammering anything hard. But not with this. Going to look for other crescent hammer designs for the shop with this handle

Ripped leather
The hammer itself is well made. My issue is with the rubber handle being ripped. I mean the hammer is usable, just not comfortable

Good Grip; Good Feel
This hammer has firm grip with slight rubber feel. It looks like the shaft is solid fiberglass with a little layer of rubber around the bottom part. The hammer head says it is 16oz. The total hammer weighs 28oz. It is 13” from the top of the hammer head to the bottom of the shalf. The hitting surface is 1” diameter. There is a spot to magnetically hold a nail to start it. The nail needs to be at least 2” long for the magnetic holder to work. The head looks like it was cast. The package says the COO is Vietnam, and “Finished” in China (not sure what that means). There isn’t a wedge in the top of the head but it looks like epoxy covering how it stay attached to the shalf.

Super nice hammer
Ordered this a while ago, and it's a super nice hammer. Light weight, good balance, easy to hold and use.Would definitely recommend.
