Outstanding Product
Very easy to put on. I have a splint wrapped using an Ace bandage. Went over the splint without affecting the Ace bandage.Worked great in the shower. Did not have to minimize water hitting or running onto this cover. It kept my Ace bandage bone dry. Made taking a shower very easy.Could not be happier with this splint/cast cover!!

Absolutely what the dr ordered
I ordered this the day after surgery for a broken leg and ankle. I have thick thighs and this fit perfectly over the various casts and now even the walking boot to keep everything dry in the shower. It drys super fast. I just hang it over the back of the shower chair and that’s it. Well made and I am sure it will last a long time. May even use it to go to the beach to keep the sand out once I get further along.

Snug
The protector fits snugly around the leg and does not leak. I was not able to fit the entire walking boot through the opening and used it with the interior section of the boot only.

Very Disappointed in Condition of Product
Pretty sure this cast cover wasn't new. It arrived in an old broken down box and wasn't packaged like it was a new product with instructions/papers that would have been included with a new product. The leg opening didn't make a seal tight closure, so I used it for protecting my cast in the tub. While entering the tub, I placed the covered cast's foot only in the water until I could elevate it on the side. When I took the cast cover off, there was water inside the bottom of the foot area where I placed it in the tub water. Water definitely leaked in through the foot area! No water was near the opening that was supposed to be sealed tightly either. Very disappointed! Not what was advertised!

Great product idea!
I had recently tore my achilles in my leg and had to wear a cast for 2 months. I was previously using garbage bags duct taped to my leg or just taking a bath and hanging my leg off of the side. This proved to be annoying, plus I hate laying in a bath of my own dirty water.I ordered the cast cover and it works like a charm. My leg stays perfectly dry. I am a 6'2" male weighing 230 lbs and the cast cover fits perfectly over my leg with room to spare. My cast covers from my toes to just below my knee so it is a pretty large and bulky cast.I had read reviews for other products that said the rubber elastic part that keeps the water out was snagging and had torn. I have not found this to be the case so long as you follow the instructions on how to put it on. They are pretty simple. You can't just pull it over your leg, you have to use your thumbs to open the hole and ease it over your leg. Easy peasy.....I highly recommend this product!!!

Did the job!
Having a broken foot is a huge bummer and trying to get clean with your leg hanging out of the shower or using a trash bag just makes things more miserable. This cast cover in combination with a shower stool made me feel much less like a helpless and stinky invalid. The material is pliable, but very strong. I tried a trash bag the first time I tried to shower after breaking my foot and the texture of my fiberglass cast easily tore little holes in the trash bag which caused my cast to get damp, which was no fun to try and remedy. The seal around the leg is strong and snug, but not uncomfortable. I highly recommend getting the wide size unless you are very tiny. I used mine for about 5 weeks (I was in a cast for 6) and I even took some baths (not fully submerging to the top, but could put my foot underwater with no issues and it actually felt great). If you must suffer the misery of breaking a lower extremity, this is one item that I would recommend without hesitation.

great boot to keep lower leg dry in the shower.
This is a great product. It slips fairly easily over my lower leg bandage and and slips off again almost as easily. My legs are thick, but this has no problem stretching over them and still sealing. Remember to pull it by the ring rather than the rubber gasket or the plastic boot. Also, when pulling it up, make sure the gasket is above the bandage or cast and the lip points up so water rolls off rather than a small amount being caught against the skin in the folded rubber. Also, dry it off before removing it to keep the bandage or cast dry. It has kept the bandage dry for four showers so far.
