I read that is a good deep nourishing oil for skin, especially dry skin and without causing irritation so wanted to give it a try. I mix it with my own only oil base moisturisers in a base of Jojoba and it feels good. Not that I can tell it does a better job, but it doesn’t cause any irritation and during the autumn colder and dryer days, it’s playing it part to keep my face and hands moisturised, naturally as possible.It does have a very earth smell with nuances of carrot, something I’ve never had or experienced before but, I don’t mind it, makes me feel connected with nature. Also with one of my mixes I have rosemary, rose and geranium oil in, so I cannot smell the carrot oil at all.Overall, an oil I never heard of, but is probably worth a try.

Nice oil, feels nice on my skin but I would say the product needs a better pipette. It’s very fiddly to use and doesn’t suck much oil up.

For some reason I expected it to be dark (orange/brown but it is light yellow). Scent is very different, it does smell like what I imagine to be crushed carrot seeds but I also detect some interesting very subtle hint of something almost like an exotic perfume. That's when I used only a small amount on the back of my hand. When I used it fully on my face and chest, I was overwhelmed by the smell and I didn't like it at all.But the oil feels nice and my skin seems to like it.I also used it after the tanning and it felt good on. But going out again with it into the sun, it created some very strange very tacky/sticky layer of transformed oil/almost felt like it got spoiled in the heat on the surface of my skin.It feels quite heavy to me, almost like the castor oil. My skin is combination/oily with the fine lines and it feels a bit too much to use on my full face. I would use it only in specific places or mix with another lighter oil.It might be slightly comedogenic so best for the drier skin types.It is supposed to be good for an eczema and it didn't irritate my dermatitis in any way. Apparently good to repair sun damage, so I did right using it on my slightly burned shoulders and forehead instinctively.Price is good, I just need to figure out how to best use it so the scent doesn't bother me.

This item is advertised as organic but I’ve checked the box and label and can’t find any confirmation that it is actually organic. It appears to be falsely advertised so I’ve returned it.
