This smells absolutely amazing and lathers very nicely. We have a rose bush in the summer and this reminds me of it!

LOVE the product. Smells like pure rose with nothing else mucking it up. However, I have had a couple of the plastic bottles crack vertically, so I will be searching for an alternative container to put it in the shower. Yet, compared to the price if drot store brands, I can afford to buy the extra bottle. Meanwhile, tried grocery store brands: horrid!

I have been using shower gels from L'Occitane (Roses et Reines shower gel) and Crabtree & Evelyn (rosewater shower gel) for at least 12 years as I'm a huge fan of the rose smell and always on the hunt for any rose scent products. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. The first impression was how big the bottle is! I think it could last me at least 4-5 month (i take shower twice daily). However, I have to say i'm not in love with this product. The rose scent is too realistic almost like you peel off a rose pedal and rub it on your body; the scent is a combination of a tiny bit of rose scent mixed with grass.If you like sweeter rose scent you probably won't like it. But if you enjoy the realistic smell of rose pedal, this is your thing :)

Kind of dull. I thought I’d get an actual freesia smell…nope. Just soapy smells.

This company makes great products. The Neroli tangerine line is incredible. Unfortunately this verbena product has absolutely NO scent. Disappointing since Lemon verbena is such a great scent! Love that comes from England! Paraben and relatively junk free. Not tested on animals is also a plus!

I live the product but the container itself is very thin and this will be my seco nd time returning it. I was in the shower (trying to get some showel gel on my cloth) and the bottle cracked and a big portion of the shower gel spilled .

I have been hunting for bath products that actually smell like roses and not like bloody cheap Walmart five dollar fruity crap, this when you open it immediately fills your nostrils with the scent of bushes of wild roses and it's divine. I have been using lush Rose Jim body wash previously but for $80 a bottle I had to find some thing at a better price point, this will now be might go to

Good gel , one thing is , you can't hang it up.

Okay guys, I smelled it before I put it on and I thought hmm not enough like roses. But when lathered on your skin it’s a whole different ball game! I grew up with rose bushes at every house and this smells exactly like roses! It’s so nice! I also get pretty common exzema and no bad reaction. Truely for sensitive skin too! Going to use this exclusively for life! No discontinuing allowed!

Pear and freesia scent is lovely and light

I'm giving this 5 stars because verbena shower gels are so very expensive anyway, and the fact that this is expensive for what it is (a shower gel) doesn't take away the fact that it is excellent value for a verbena shower gel.I was wondering whether to buy it due to the reviews saying it smelled like lemon washing up liquid - but it seems most of the verbena shower gels have people saying that! I needn't have worried - it's a lovely smell, like the L'Occitane one, but with a slight 'sherbet' to it too. I don't find verbena scent lasts long on my skin anyway, but this one is as long-lasting as the L'Occitane one and also scents your clothes if you put them on out of the shower.This will still be a shower gel I use as a 'treat' rather than every day, but it's less expensive than my previous treat.
