Initial performance is very good - need to use it more before final judgement
I got this unit for a project to convert a utility trailer into a camper. The unit was delivered undamaged and well packaged. I unboxed, inspected and all parts seem to be present. I setup the unit on a workbench and put a few pieces of lumber under it for spacing because it breaths from the bottom. The unit fired up and ran quietly. Set the unit to cool and set the temperature to 65F to make sure the compressor would kick in. The three supply air holes blew a large volume of air quietly (with that volume of air I would have expected a rushing noise or whistling). When the compressor kicked in it was barely audible and vibration seemed low. I am working on the install and look forward to seeing what impressions I get when trying to sleep (how quiet will the unit be and how consistent will the temp be?).Likes:-Compact-Quiet-Large volume of air-Seems to be well madeDislikes / concerns:-The unit breaths through the floor which may cause the unit to ingest too much dust and clog up the condenser coil. Towing in rainy weather might cause water to splash into the air intake and exhaust. Because of this, I am trying to rig up a door to block off the intake/exhaust while traveling. I also want to incorporate an air filter over the intake to keep the compressor and condenser clean.-I think this unit is new to the market, so there isn't much of a track record to rely on. Pioneer seems to be a respected brand for other AC system configurations, so hopefully their experience and engineering knowhow has been put into this under-bench system.Note:The other reviewer who said the unit wouldn't turn on might have not connected the 12v DC (CN10) wires that power the system control unit. I had the same problem the first time I tried to start the system. The unit needs both a 110VAC (conventional 3 prong wall plug), and 12VDC (there are thin wires so I think this is very low amperage). The instructions are not clear about the need for the 12VDC connection. After connecting both the AC and DC connections to a power source, she fired right up and worked as expected.

WON'T EVEN POWER ON!
After reading the manual 3 times, everything prepped . Thank God I didnt cut through the floor of my truck yet. Went to bench test prior to installation and the dang thing won't even power on! Wasted so much time for this piece of doody, not to mention money!

Excellent when you can't do roof AC.
installed in A frame popup to replace failed coolcat. Way nicer than coolcat, quiet, just enough AC to not be over capacity (causing humidity) in small campers.

So far so good!
I purchased this unit on Pioneers website. That system was packed well and nothing was damaged. I installed the system myself using the manual and installation diagram. It was pretty easy but took some time doing it alone. I put this unit in my semi truck and it works well. The inside temp in my truck started at 102f and it bought it down to 70f. More testing will need to be done, I've only had it for a few days. A couple of tips - when installing the duct hose in the unit do not push them in too far. It'll block the inside fan blower from spinning. Make sure you connect the 12v wires or the system will not turn on.
