Great NVME hub.
I needed a fast working drive for my Mac Studio.I have a RAID configuration for archiving, but needed something to put large video files on while working in Resolve.I put together a RAID 0 config in this hub using two NVME drives. I get great speed, pretty much at the quoted limit. No bottlenecks.I added two cheap heat sinks to the ssds, but I honestly don’t know if I needed to. I ran the set up for nearly a month without them and never experienced heat or noise issues.Which is another great aspect, it seemed to keep the drives cool. And the fan is quiet. At least in my experience. I typically work on 4K 422 and RAW video files on it, never any issues.Plus it adds an additional port or two. Could have more, but I got it primarily for the SSD RAID, the ports are just a nice to have. One comment is the blue light. It’s pretty bright. Bright enough to illuminate my office at night. I put a sticker over it and that made it much better. I can see the drive is on, but no glaring blue light.

T Dock

umm.. wow
Where do I even begin.. before I even plugged this thing into my Mac Studio, I knew I was dealing with someone's student project. The journey into mediocrity begins when you have to unscrew not 2 or so bolts, but 7 bolts, scattered all over the case for some reason. There is a free plug available for another fan but no room for another fan, it's like someone gave up on the future halfway while they were building it. The location of the fan and its size are also questionable. All of this you can technically forgive and chuckle at the amateurism until you plug this unit into the power block, which by the way is BIGGER than the unit itself.Once you plug this thing in, the realization that you are being punked hits you with a bright blue light beaming from the front of the unit. It is so bright and blue, there is no way an actual person designed this. I think this is the first product that I've ever ordered that is outright trolling and taunting me.

Great NVME hub
Of all the NVME hubs I've tried, this is the only one that still works after a week.

Unable to remove screws
I was excited to install drives and connect to my Mac Studio but there is 7 small screws to remove that hold the cover in place . I’m really meticulous with my hardware and have a set of precision tools/drivers as I have a lot of various computer hardware in my studio . I never use power drivers either on these small screws . Anyways , the 4 screws in the front of the unit came out clean as expected but there are two screws on the bottom that were basically torqued in so tight that you’d think they were welded in . The first screw started stripping from the first turn . The 2nd one did also but I tried hitting it with a blow dryer and it finally came out…… the second screw on bottom however , was wanky from the get go and I never could get it out. I’m returning and seeing if I’ll have better luck with the replacement .I have other sonnet pci/thinderbolt products in my studio and never had any issues.
