Love the fact that the dot is green and it's pretty small and comfortable to carry concealed. Easy to zero in, and so far is holding well with about 1000 rounds so far! Definitely a good budget buy!

The title makes it sound like a bad thing but it is not.This green dot is one that let me know i have an astigmatism. The dot was blown out so bad i though the optic was bad so I sent it back for replacement.Received replacement, and OMWord how can they send me broken optics twice in a row??? (This is my thought) Anyways, company was nice enough to ask me to please look through the optic with my phone camera and take a picture. Well sure enough it is a perfect green dot.I would recommend this to someone who doesnt have astigmatism and is looking to get into red or green dot optics at a lower cost.

Fits perfectly on my Hellcat Pro!

I have red dots on my rifles so I decided to try them on pistols. Researched the ADE Spike and decided to gamble on it. Really impressed with the improved accuracy on a notoriously accurate pistol, Canik Elite sc. Housing solid aluminum, easy to install. Zeroing was easy. On target to fast acquisition of target. Dot is self adjustable and does a good job of it.So nice I bought two more, one a green dot, for my other 2 Canik Elites sc. Are they as the Holosun 40K? Well when you factor in cost not that much difference except battery life. By the way I have a Holosun green dot on a custom Sig P320. Longevity and how robust they are is what I’m gauging right now. If I could gig anything it would be the bottom loading battery compartment. That’s not enough to take a full star off of considering the price. That is the great equalizer.

First, the seller sportswarehouse thankfully made it clear that this is the green dot version. ADE really dropped the ball on this model, as even the documentation that it comes with describes it as a red dot. However, as you can see from the pictures it is definitely a GREEN DOT. Sportswarehouse (seller) may want to also correct the Manufacture description, as the width is NOT 0.92" which would have looked great on the slides that are slim (e.g., P365/P365X/P365XL, Hellcat).Unfortunately, the actual width is 1" or slightly larger (my calipers are not high-end). As seen in the pictures, due to the width and exposed bottom of the ADE RD3-018-SC when mounted on a slide smaller than 1" in width, the battery will be exposed on both sides (see arrows in pictures). As a result, this introduces the risk of getting dust/other particles and moisture inside the unit.I am only taking one star off, and it is due to the Manufacture description. I will update this review if sportswarehouse is able to update the posted description to note that the Manufacture Description (listed on other sites too) is wrong for at least the Green Dot version and instead that it is 1" or larger in width. If it was truly 0.92", then this would be a five star review hands down. The unit is solid, looks great, the green dot is perfect even in dark (unless you have astigmatism).

The batter is installed in the optic without the tag to prevent power from draining the battery. Also, corrosion and wear on the bottom of the optic as well as a fingerprint on optic lens. Used item.

Works good from my use. sometimes hard to find the green in bright daylight, but thats as expected. too heavy for the Glock 44 slide, used with a Monstrum plate and it stovepipes every shot.Works good on the P365xl though.

Ordered two both were defective not a green dot more like a green smudge
