ButtKicker RI-4-PAK Medium Kinetic Furniture Isolators Set of 5

I dont usually write reviews, but I figured I would do so for these products because theyre a specialty product and I read some reviews that seemed like maybe people didnt understand what they were purchasing.First of all, the only negative thing I have to say about my whole experience, is that I was disappointed none of my purchases through Parts Express were covered under my 2-day Amazon Prime shipping. HOWEVER, I did not feel cheated because I had to pay for shipping since my purchases actually arrived sooner than items I ordered through Amazon. Yeah, I had to pay extra, but the shipping gets an A+ from me. Also, everything was always packed tight, lots of cushion, and box within a box. I work for a large brown shipping company and believe me I see poor packaging allllllll the time. These people are on top of their game.I mounted 2 Bass shakers with a steel plate to the steel frame of my couch. I wired them at 8 ohms to a Dayton Audio SA100 amp, and switched out the stock feet to my couch with the Buttkicker brand isolators. WOW! These things work magnificent! If youre on the fence about purchasing these things just do it already! You wont regret it! Im a bass junkie, I have 5 subs hooked up to my system, but with these hooked up I havent even turned on 2 of them since my install. I mainly watch movies but it seems these will work great for music as well.I used 2 orders of 5 isolators (btw I feel shipping charges shouldve been combined for these since its one package). I waited a week after my install to mount these because I wanted to see if they made a real difference. They did! I used 1 1/4" long 1/4" bolts for mounting. The isolators themselves add about an inch height difference to my couch. My concern was taking the vibration of the floor but it also seemed to greatly improve the vibration in the couch itself.Honestly, if youre installing transducers, these things are a necessity. Youre not getting the most from youre investment without these.

With a set of 5 there's a perfect set for a couch with 6 legs, because Buttkicker stand is the 6th leg. My set up is a four legged couch. Based on my experience with the home theater kit, I would use it in the back middle leg for a more even distribution of the rumble effect.

Buttkickers isolators are1/2 yours are 3/4 not the same.Could not use on my loveseat so I put them under my DISH Network box to help it stay cool.

I used my system without these for a few days and then added them and I can't tell the difference. Maybe they do add something maybe they don't. For the price I'm not complaining, if they help to add some shake even if I can't tell then I'd spend the money again. It's one of those things you just want to make sure if you've spent the money on the amp and shakers you may as well spend a little more to make sure you did it all right.

You need these medium soft Isolators is you are doing a buttkicker installation on a stand-alone recliner, sectional or couch. I ordered and returned a cheaper version of isolators a previous reviewer suggested and they were not even close to the pliablity and isolating performance of these.I ordered 25 of these for a four Buttkicker LFE installation on a sectional couch. Great Isolators, and no problems with the Buttkickers bottoming out on a concrete floor.

My butt kicker was lacking and made a sound like it was bottoming out. Then i read that the couch need s to be isolated for it to work. Screwed the to the bottom of couch and now it works great.
