Absolutely recommend!
I did my research before buying this lense so I knew it is a manual focus only lense.Being among a lot of us who want a long telephoto lense but can't afford £3000+ this is a GREAT alternative!I am very please with it, it's a good solid metal cased unit along with tripod mount, lense caps, lense mount and tightening key.You do need a tripod and shutter remote to get good clear pictures because any movement will blur your pictures obviously being a telephoto lense.I am very impressed with the picture quality. You can't go wrong with this lense for the price and I definately recommend.

Excellent value for money lens.
This lens arrived in mint condition, which bearing in mind the state of the world gave me hope. Well packaged and the Instructions for changeover to manual were helpful but not complete but then I am a beginner so the fault may be with me on that!Today however I managed to at least focus my camera with it ( hint ISO ratio should be 100 for daylight!! 😂😂🤦♀️).The lens itself is light but you definitely need a tripod for any extended period of time using it.T2 adapter for my camera that came with it works just fine and overall I am very pleased with my purchase. My photography skills are yet to be established!Would recommend as a first long distance manual lens for those new to the concept of taking manual focus shots long range. Hope to get some wonderful shots with in the near future.Thank you 😃

Pleasantly surprised ! Very decent quality for the price
I am a photography enthusiast, and one of the reasons I got into the hobby, was to take photos of the moon.As a beginner, I shoot with a Canon M50 + a number of ef-m lenses. Unfortunately my longest focal was the 18-150mm. While a versatile lens for general photography, 150mm is way too short (even with the 1.6 sensor crop factor and the additional crop in 4K).I initially wanted to save to buy the Sigma 150-600mm. But a bit of research showed that 600mm is still a little too short for closer photos of the moon surface.I came across this EF telephoto zoom lens with a maximum focal of 800mm, selling for £100, so I decided to take a chance. While the lens is obviously far from perfect optically (soft and quite a bit of chromatic aberration), I am super happy with the results of my 1st Moon shots.Caution though, it is a fully manual lens, so a sturdy tripod, as well as a camera with clear focus peaking are an absolute must. IBIS would also be a big help. The lens is also quite slow (f8.3-16).If you are on a budget, a beginner and your use case is similar to mine, I would say that this is a no brainer.

What a Find!!
I have always wanted a zoom lens, but I couldn't afford even a 300 lens, so when I saw this at 800 zoom I thought there must be something wrong.....once I worked out how to fit the adaptor ring away i went. The manual focus was a bitfidgety but within 5 minutes had it sussed out. tried a few started shots just to get the distance, amazing results for solittle money... I photographed a dear through the grass, even without a stand the shots were impressive., But you needto find something to stand it on because it is top heavy......FANTASTIC>>>

Great value for money.
Yet, to be properly checked, but after just a few shots I`m very excited to use this lens at more demanding conditions. Pictures are clear, as the leaflet attached to the lens. Which explain in a few simple sentences how to avoid potential issues, which in my case were unnecessary. Very happy bunny
