Definitely not water proof!
this is a great size storage container and was fairly easy to assemble, but its NOT waterproof. We have added a plastic sheets to the inside of the box but water tends to sit on this and its not easy to remove. we will need to find a solution through the winter as the cushions would get ruined if left without additional protection.
