This stuff is amazing!!
Oh my goodness! This stuff is amazing! It smelled weird, I didn't eat it was for a customer but it was so easy to use. It came with a prompt to go to a you tube video that walked you through the process. It dried fast and I was able to dry paint it with luster dust! It was really flexible and shaped right to the sides of the cake and hung beautifully! I'm in love! I'm getting it in all the colors!

Amazing
This product is even better than I hoped it would be. I always hated sugar lace cakes, due to the delicacy but this completely changed that. It’s so easy. I even baked it and did bake it quite long enough to dry and just assumed it was ruined and would crack, but I let it sit overnight anyway to see how it would be the next day, and I was blown away. It came out the mat so easy, didn’t crack and tear or stick. Even after a few days it kept its flexibility. I attached a photo of my first demo, the lace isn’t as nicely trimmed, mainly because it was a practice one and I didn’t put too much effort into it. I would highly recommend this, worth every penny.

Old and unimpressive
I received my order on 3/21/24, the Best Buy date was for the product was for 2/10/24. The paste smells and tastes gross. I know people don’t use it for the taste but still I’m not impressed. I found it difficult getting it out of the mold without damaging the lace but that could just be that I am new to edible lace.

Practice practice practice.
Finally got a round ro using this a few things to know :Pros : It is truly easy to use. It spreads evenly, is not a gooey mess as one review said and it fils in the grooves nicely.Cons: after 15mins of baking and 30 mins of rest ot was not easily coming out of my most detailed mat. It began to tear so as I was attempting to pull it away at the edges so I stopped. I reapplied a small amount of lace mix to the edges and over the tear ai I ll see what happens in the morning and adjust this review. You will have to go over it twice as suggested in the YouTube video if you have delicate and tiny edges to your matt as you can see from my photos. At 21.99 a small jar only made 3 of the mats I have shown. With about a table spoon left over that allowed me to go over the edges of two of my mats. Pretty pricey as a box or lavw mix coat about 30 dollars and I get 10 to 15 of these same sized Mats out of them. But if tomorrow things go well and the lace comes our easily it will be worth it but just in a pinch. If you have a business this is pretty costly at only being able to get 3 Mats out of this hardware size. I did notice the jars twice as big which are alaaya out of stock here are only 4 dollars more . So get the larger Size when ever you can to reduce your sticker shock. All in all I am pretty happy with it so far. I just hope it dries and stays pliable the next morning and comes out of the Mat without tearing.3/13/2022I wanted to add an amendment to this review1. It does not cut at all. No matter how sharp your knife is. In one of the questions someone asked about its cutibality and another person replied it depends on the technic used to cut it. I'm sorry there is no technic to cutting this while on a cake. And who sells a cake and hands out a proper technic cutting guide for cutting lace pm a cake??? No one.Now I'm going to Google ana go on youtube to see if there are videos for cutting editing lace on a cake. In a real world setting.2. I did still get some tearing even with the second coat. But it seems letting it sit dry when you apply the second coat is yields the best results.3.It takes color well after it is made.4. I put it in an air tight container and it was still soft and pliable after 7 days. It's been two weeks and the last set I premade didnt crumble like the dry mix I made.Final analysis is great for when your short on time and need to make a cake in less than a week time table, use a second coat and let it air dry, purchase the larger size of you can get it as it provides the most bang for your buck, and peel slowly and methodically. It's a pain in the butt but worth the effort. Only if you are short on time. Other wise I'm still buying powder mix to get the more product for more mats. This product you have to use twice as much to get the results needed and it still tore in some intricate spots.3/15/22Update. This taste terrible but.....the workablilty is bar none. It stays pliable, doesnt shrink at all froknqhat I can tell, it pulls away from the mat with ease...I went back to my augarveil which taste amazing but cracks and tears, and it made me realize what this is worth double the cost. You Wont Waste Time nor product trying to get it right..If you want taste get sugar veil but it will be a beast to get right. If you need beauty over taste, function, pliability and reliable results get This product.. Even in my chilly apartment it held up in the mat over night and when I have the heat on 80 it still turned out great. I just wish they could make it taste good. Lol

Great product.
Works great. My first time using. Our oven only goes down to 180 and that worked fine. I did have to bake it a lot longer, but may have been the mold being different/ not as thin. I was worried about it not being white, but it was definitely white!!

Very easy to use to make lace for cakes.
This is a great product to make lace like items. I made it as per the instructions (at the bottom of the bottle) and it worked very well. It has very easy to follow the instructions. I just had to let it dry for a longer period. The lace slid out of the mold very easily, once completely dry. It was very pliant and I have left it in the fridge to use it in a couple of days. Will definitely use it again.

Weird smell - worked well
The product is easy to use but has a very weird unappealing smell. I wish they could add some vanilla or some other flavor in it I made lace to decorate wedding dress cookies and they are beautiful but I am apprehensive to eat them just because of the smell. Also pretty pricey. Would not buy again.

Awsome product!
Awesome product. I must say that when I purchased this sugar lace it came broken. I contact the seller and they immediately replace it. It only took two days to arrived. A+ for customers service. This was the first time that I tried to do a sugar lace, so I used the Madame Loulou ready to use lace. It was really easy to use and the lace was gorgeous. I painted with gold dust and look really nice. The only thing is that when I tried to glue it to the cake with water I broke the lace. I changed to corn syrup and worked great. I recommend this product for beginners and those who want to save time. Love it!
