These valve caps are a really good idea. They’re decorative, robust and secure. A tool can be used to tighten them, which makes them hard to steal. In addition, they keep out dust and moisture, and maintain the integrity of the inflation valves. They’re also relatively inexpensive.

These will corrode and bind to your valve stem. Do not buy this item.The item may be well made and give a nice little detail lift to your wheels. But the aluminium will react with the brass valve stem, corrode and lock on. If you’re lucky you will be able to remove them carefully with tools. If not, then it will be a trip to a garage to have the valve stems removed and replaced.You do not want to find yourself in a situation where that you have low tyre pressure and then can’t inflate your tyres because the dust caps won’t come off.I made these mistakes so that you don’t have to. Please buy plastic dust caps.

Good looking set of caps to replace the standard black plastic ones. 8 supplied in the package which arrived promptly and represents great value for money. Caps fitted nicely after adding some lubrication to the valve threads to help prevent binding. Regular tyre pressure checks will also help avoid caps sticking to the valve. Overall very pleased with the quality of the caps and speed of service.
