Awesome EDF - 2 helpful tips to not crash (like I did)
The media could not be loaded. Great EDF. Sounds awesome and flies awesome. That being said, there are plenty of videos on YouTube of it BUT this is what I have realized after going through (and crashing) 2 of these birds already:1) Be very aware of your battery voltage. This thing eatssssss up batteries! You will NOT get 5 minutes out of it the way most of us fly (full to near full throttle) - at your alarm at 3 minutes and by 3 minutes and 30 seconds LAND IT or else it will just drop out of the sky! (How I destroyed Both of my Vipers beyond repair)2) Part A: It is a heavy aircraft - landing with FULL flaps and not increasing the throttle will most likely result in a crash - IF you’re using full flaps during landing, be sure to increase throttle or else it will stall out and Part B: Landing with or without flaps it doesn’t matter, it IS a heavy airplane so be mindful that you do NOT reduce your throttle too much while landing, you need to keep it moving forward with about 20% more throttle than other models so that it does not stall out.Have fun!!!

Best handling EDF Jet on the market for Experts and Beginners
I have been flying many different airframes. I was always hesitant to jump into to the world of jets. After doing some research I pulled the trigger on the Viper 90 by E-flite. Boy did E-flite knock it out of the park with this product! This jet is good for grass ops or runway. I didn't need any trim out of the box. With no wind I used GPS for speed 117MPH+ and it handles like a dream. For landings this plane is unreal... E-Flight turned a jet into a beginner plane for landing. Power off gliding down (which you typically don't do with jets due to stall) it comes in perfect like a butterfly. Unbelievable. Landing gear is insanely sturdy for an RC plane. Online there are kits to make this bad boy 8s and it is my new project because I ordered more than one! There is so much you can do with this jet I am excited to experiment. Cheers guys thanks for making a quality product! Did i mention assembly + programming maybe took me 15 min? No glue with this product 4-6 screws snap on wing tips and your ready to fly!

First EDF Jet
Coming from only flying collective pitch helis, I am now diving into planes and EDFs. This is probably one of the best flying jets you can buy at the moment. Quality is very good and HH support is still top notch. Wish me luck on the maiden flight.

No customer service
I recently put together my new E-flite Viper 90mm and at the end the kit was missing two screws. I contacted Horizon Hobby customer service, and they asked for proof of purchase. I sent the Amazon invoice, and they said the Amazon invoice was not valid. They said they don't have access to Amazon's records. Make sure the seller is Horizon Hobby.

Pricey
I haven't flown it yet but it's a bit over priced for what you get.
