A great air cooler, high quality and easy to use
- PackagingThe cooler arrived in a package larger than the size I imagined, sorry I didn't read the dimensions before ordering. But that's a good thing because I spend the same amount money for a larger product, and larger usually means better performance for fans/coolers.- First useStraight forward and intuitive, I did read the quick start manual but I think anyone can operate it without reading anything. There's a couple of things to remember though, in fan only mode (without water cooling), water isn't needed so it's operates just like a regular fan. If water cooling is turned on, make sure water level is in between the minimum and maximum, which can be easily seen on a indicator at the bottom of the fan.- performance2 ice packs came with the fan, put it in the freezer and use it when you want extra cooling in water cooling mode. Fan speed is adjustable and the levels are right on spot, which means the lowest speed and highest speed is within the perfect range.- noiseI have been using this fan for the paat week or so, it's really done a good job on controlling noise compare to other fans I have in the house. Hope it will stay that way.- controlI'm not a remote control type of person but both the remote and touch buttons on the cooler are very easy to understand and operate.Overall, I love this cooler which can cool a single room instead of turning on the AC for the whole house.

It's OK, not as cool as I expected it to be.
It works like what it is, a swamp cooler. It's just like a fan but with cooler air. It isn't as cool as I expected it to be. The blown air is noticeably cool but doesn't cool my 10' x 10' room. I put it on the lowest fan setting as that was the most comfortable for sleeping noise wise. I slept 4' from the unit and turned off the oscillation which provided enough relief in 90F weather. The water tank is cumbersome, the water supply line is attached to the tank's bottom. You can pull the tank out somewhat to pour water in but you'll miss and spill water on the floor. I had to detach the supply line and take the tank to the bathroom, fill it up, and then try to reattach the supply line without seeing the bottom just by the feel of my fingers. It advertises connectivity using Alexa but I couldn't find a Wifi network or Bluetooth device to connect to. The manual does not explain this at all.I'm taking away 1 stars: 1. Not as cool as I expected, 2. Cumbersome water tank

Good functionality
I like this because I can choose to use as a fan or an evaporative cooler. Both functions work well. I know my summer budget will be very tight this year so I bought this to cool my bedroom since I can seal that room off from the rest of my home and it is small it will make a huge difference in the electricity bill. It's not an air conditioner but using ice and refrigerated water can really drop the temperature pretty nicely making it comfortable to sleep. It's a really quiet unit, light weight, and compact.

Great Fan To Keep Cool
I’ve bought 3 fans in as many years, and thankfully this will be the last. Previously I was using the other 2 fans simultaneously to keep cool at night during the summer, but this does the job more efficiently than both. The cooling feature definitely provides a refreshing breeze rather than moving hot air around, filling it up it generally last 8hrs. Has 4 speeds, I was pleasantly surprised to find then 2nd speed feels just as powerful as full blast on the other fans. The top speed is a little “louder” than others but it’s still just mild whooshing/whirling sound, nothing noisy or distracting. Works great as a bedroom fan for hot summer days/nights, very satisfied with purchase.

A couple design issues hold this back from being great
UPDATE: I'm upgrading this to a 4 star, because I've gotten better at using it, and I've got more utility out of it since the first review. Biggest issue is still the pump hose attachment, but it actually IS removable. This thing really just suffers at temperatures above 90 degrees. I have good luck with it up until that point though, it can even cool a whole room if it doesn't hit that 90 degree mark outsideThe biggest con is the lack of a removable water tray [EDIT: this is removable, you just have to stick your arm elbow deep in water to reconnect the host after removing. Still not ideal, but it's not as bad as I initially thought it was]. That is compounded by the fact that the unit will not use up all available water in the tank as it runs. This leaves a small amount of water that will never leave the unit without dumping it out, but dumping it out is not exactly simple; you basically need to put it inside a bathtub in order to drain it, as the tray will not extend more than a few inches away from the base. [EDIT: It actually CAN be removed, which is easier than putting it back in]It starts to smell mildew-y if you don't dump it, so you're left in a very inconvenient spot. If there was a drain function, or if it could use all available water in the tray, it would mitigate this issue. The unit runs quietly [EDIT: the pump has gotten a bit noisy after a week's use, but nothing too bad. Not completely silent anymore though], and does provide some temporary relief from heat if you sit right in front of it. It has not provided a notable improvement to the room i work in at large, but if i point it at my chair life is a bit easier. In summary, it's a job to fill and drain this thing, but it does provide some relief if you sit right in front of it.
