Pavoncelli Grilled Artichoke Hearts Jar Made in Italy - Premium Marinated Artichoke Hearts for Antipasto Platter (3 x 19.4 oz. Jars)

I saw these on a tv show at Francis Coppollas restaurant and wanted to try them. They are a great addition to a charcuterie board. Nice flavor and something different to add.

This olive variety is known for its jumbo size and crispy texture. No large, nor crispy, in these jars. Keep looking.

Delicious, slightly bitter (less than expected), nice and crisp

As the bottles were not broken the lid on one of them was not sealed properly and it leaked all over the box it came in. There were two more but they were okay. I was given a refund on the one bottle so that is a good thing.

These are great. I add them to sourdough bread. What a great flavor.

Maybe that is the way they are supposed to taste. I remember having these or something very similar as a child (also they were slimy and these aren’t). My mother (from Italy) used to make them. I remember bitterness, but these seem more bitter.Granted I haven’t had them in a very long time, so maybe this is how they are supposed to taste, but I tried to like them and gave up and tossed them.I gave them 2 Stars since the jar was beautiful. I was also surprised that there was not a drop of olive oil in them. I prefer olive oil.

This is a treat. Great with Sharp Italian cheese,Salami and Italian bread. Fresh and packed in peppers and olive oil.A taste of Sicily.
