Black Adam Rise and Fall of an Empire Paperback – 27 Sept. 2022

The tragic year of Black Adam, when he meets and marries his love Isis and tries to create a Black Shazam Family, and the terrible wrath of his grief when his world collapses.Johns and the writing team of '52' tried to broaden the DC Universe by making readers focus on what was left when the Trinity was removed. This digest of the Black Adam portions of the storyline presents the story in a different way and, while this is a good way to broaden Black Adam's story, it is probably better to read it in its original context.

This was an epic volume of Black Adam's exploits. Following from the great action packed movie, this story delivered well. Great artwork and full of colour, the volume was a visual spectacle. Coupled with a fantastic storyline, it was full of action and drama until the very last page. Simply wonderful!!

My only complaint is the deceptive cover. I was expecting the cover with comic Black Adam, not Dwaine Johnson
