I've put several thousand miles on them since I first bought them and they have been very good.
I've ridden these in both the dry of central Florida in the heat of August and in the heavy rains we had this past winter without complaint. They been good on the short runs and excellent on the long multiday trips covering hundreds of miles both day and night with dry and rainy conditions.I'm not a knee dragger by any means but they don't wander in the turns, have very good grip comdined ith excellent wear characteristics, and are only now beginning to show a bit of a 'chickien stripe' on the rear while the front hardly has any noticeable wear.I bought this particular brand and model for it's advertised long wearing construction and good wet weather performance. The fact that they were less expensive than the major brands was a plus. So far they've done what they advertised they could do.

Great and in time
I cannot wait till the spring so I can put this bad boy on. I’m ready to ride and get the wheel spinning.

Very good tire for the money
I bought this for my VFR800. It is good in the wet and dry. Very grippy and I feel confident in the tight turns. They seem to be wearing good and I plan to buy them again when I need tires.

you must be crazy putting shinko's on your bike! ;)
ha! i bought this tire as an experiment...i've always ridden hypersport tires on the street and race tires on the track...and i've always steered WAAAY clear of shinko... but i have an "old man bike" now (yamaha FJ09/MT09/Tracer...whatever you call it in your country). it's good. in fact, it's GREAT on my bike. i turn TC off every time i get on the bike (how else am i suposed to do wheelies!?) and i run it in A mode.i'm not slow. this tire works.normally, i get around 1000 miles on a rosso 2 rear or about 1400 miles on a q3 rear... so far, i've put 600 miles on this tire, and aside from striations and some minor tearing of the leading edge of the tread, it barely looks touched (the tearing is undoubtedly due to the stock shock being undersprung). i wanted to see if i could get a tire that would last me 3000 miles without being made of bowling ball material...this tire looks like it might be it!i approached grip cautiously on this shinko 009...i expected the worst. my old man bike doesn't really allow me to carry elbow dragging lean angles (like i do on my spr0tbiles at the track)...thus far, i've been pleased! i've even purposely spun it up just to see how it reacted, and it's smooth and predictable. trust me, guys, i'm just as shocked to be writing this as you are to be reading it.all that being said, i'll be buying this rear tire for my FJ09 again if it continues to perform as it has been. i will continue to run hypersport tires on the front, as fronts last me about 2500-3000 miles anyways and i won't compromise front end grip, no matter the budget. i WILL NOT put these tires on my track bikes...and i'd be somewhat hesitant to put them on a street going supersport gsxr 600-750-1000 yut-ugh as well...mostly because of shinko's reputation though...but the tire seems to have grip!

Love me a good Shinko Tire (2011 Triumph Street Triple R)
My second Shinko on the rear wheel and I'm still in love. Corners perfectly and holds out well considering what I paid for it. The bike is my daily driver so the tire never sits. I don't track the bike so regular road use is all it sees.I'm a pretty aggressive rider so the tire gets put through the paces. No problems with loss of tire pressure from day to day and it wears evenly. Stays balanced (I balance and mount the tires myself). Holds out well over 100+. Even tire wear.I'm not here to say that a tire barely over $100 will perform like a $200 performance tire, but for the money I really can't say bad things about it. You'll buy two of these for every one 'nice' tire, but It'll do the job and then some.

great tire so far!
In need of a rear tire for my Triumph Daytona 595 insanely badly, I already had a shinko raven front tire, so after carefull reading of reviews I decided to get the shinko raven rear. deffinitly harder than my batlax it takes a bit more to warm up, but Ill let you in on alittle fun secret!! I love drifting my bike through intersections now!! lmao! you can lean good and hard on it but the right amount of throttle blip will send this tire free!!! and in a very controllable drift...if your into scaring people and having fun :) Not your typical review but hey...inquiring minds want to know!! other than that the main reason I went with this tire is its longevity...I dot ALOT of straight line riding and a long wearing tire is a must!! great tire for the price!
