Simple
It's a pretty simple item but it works.

Close enough
The level itself appears to be close enough but for some reason the center stripe isn't centered. Kind of weird. It doesn't look wonderful and I haven't used it yet, just mounted to a crossbow to check it out. I'll probably be updating this review after I get some shooting done in October.

Not usable...unless you...
I do not understand the positive reviews. As others have mentioned, maybe there are good one's out there, but I did not receive one. There are a few issues with this level.1. It is machined to be mounted on the bottom of the rail. When it is, the bubble faces down. Most rails do not allow this. I do not think the designer or the manufacturer intended for this to happen. I think it is a mistake. This makes it unusable for the intended application unless one mounts a scope with the gun upside down or shoots the same way. Any trick shooters out there? I was fortunate to have a rail that was not mounted yet so I was able to discover this. Otherwise I would have probably missed it.2. The length of the screw is too short. The common rule is that the screw should thread in a minimum of one and a half times the diameter of the screw threads. This probably threads in around one half the diameter.3. The diameter on the head of the screw is too small. The torque is not distributed well enough to allow the clamp side of the level to seat correctly.4. As mentioned by others, the fluid in the bubble is too viscous or thick. The bubble is slow to respond and actually gets hung up on one end of the level and you have to tap it to get it to release.Generally, when I purchase something, I can usually make it work in another application if it does not work for the intended purchase. With this, I struggle to see another use for it so therefore the one star review. I hope this helps those who have purchased or are thinking about purchasing this item...thank you.

Screw is to short
The level works well if you can get it mounted. The mounting screw needs to be 2mm longer.

A Level-Headed Purchase!
Works exactly as advertised!Mine doesn't have the vertical white marker under the bubble like in the picture on either side, but it seems solid, and can be placed nearly anywhere on the rail under my 4x32mm scope on my Gladiator 405's Picatinny rail.Getting a level shot is pretty important for crossbows if you're like me, shooting out to 90m (or more if you're lucky to have a bigger range to shoot on). The bolt just flies more true. Also, the bubble is VERY responsive, which I like! I'm not sure if they're using water in there or something else, but whatever it is, it tracks smoothly.I'm not sure what the negative reviews are talking about; it's a level, so how can it be you can't figure out how it works? Maybe you just have wobbly hands or your bench isn't level.I can understand negative reviews saying it doesn't fit a given rail, because I've noticed there are at least 2 different Picatinny rail sizes. This uses the larger of the two rails (about an inch wide rail). The other Picatinny rail I've seen is like 3/4" or something, so yeah, this won't fit on the small rails, especially those narrow ones you see on air rifles and airsoft guns. I could also see it not fitting if your scope rings are low clearance mounts. My rings sit pretty with about 1/2" clearance, which is more than enough for this level, even sitting cozy under the eyepiece with its cap on.It also comes with the Allen wrench, which it's always nice to have a spare wrench.

Inexpensive, work well.
I use send it digital levels for two high precision items. I bought several of these very inexpensive bubble levels due to their a small foot print for 300-800 yd for 556 and 308 semi platforms. They are accurate enough and easy to install.
