Call Center listening extension
Using these for call managers to listen in on reps live calls (muted). Handsets were easy to program (we're on an old version of asterisk). Range covers the entire office and the battery lasts all day. Seller was prompt and efficient. Will likely but again to increase capacity and cover the 2nd office.

This works great for our small office with 5 handsets. The voice quality is perfect!Steps we took to achieve the best voice quality were: (1) connect the base station directly to the router with a CAT-6 cable, (2) turn on QoS and add the MAC address of the base station and prioritize it as the highest, with other services listed and prioritized at lower levels, (3) direct all VOIP ports to the base station, and (4) disabled SIP ALG.Grandstream is pretty responsive through their HelpDesk, so definitely use it.I currently use Vitelity as my SIP provider, but will be looking into using Twillio since Vitelity charges to use their API and it's free at Twillio. We want to use the API to add an IVR to our phone system (we're software developers).

Ripped off By Seller
I returned this product because it did not function as advertised. The seller VOIP Superstore refunded only half my purchase price. The explanation that the product was used and not returned in the same box. In order to determine if the product worked, I had to take it out of the box. I returned the product in the same box that was sent to me. There was no mention of missing or broken items. Just that the product was used. It was returned with the alloted time.Amazon seemed to back up the seller even though I was awarded a gold something for purchases. I return very few items. I was ripped off and I will find other suppliers than Amazon for my future purchases.
