Q: do they collect lint when washed?

They will collect a little, but nothing like regular socks. I'm in my 60's and still teaching school. This is the only sock I buy for winter. They are comfortable and last much better than other socks I have purchased. I would definitely recommend them.

Q: what is the length of the sock from ankle up?

I am not sure, I lost most of them, I moved twice. For Gold toes, I was not impressed. I would not purchase on line again.

Q: Need extra large size for women
