Shredder

Good value & quality. Quite noisy & sometimes difficult to load paper. Clogs up around cutters but easy to remove by hand. Overheated on one occasion but cools down pretty quickly. If using on a large amount of paper it could take some time. Overall for the price very pleased.

this is not a 'silent' shredder as advertised

I was looking for a quiet shredder - the description uses the word 'Silent' - this shredder is as noisy as any other i have previously purchased - false advertising.

Do not buy!!!!

Used it for less than 5 minutes, it made a strange weak sound, but I tried it, until it started smelling like burnt and stopped working mid shred.I guess that’s why it’s cheap! And now that I’m trying to return it they are making me pay for the return! I am not at all happy! Stay away from this product!

Happy with this shredder and does what it says on the tin. Have a couple of cons...the safety stop kicks in very quickly! After feeding in just a few sheets of paper it cuts out and then takes 10-15 minutes to re-set. This is very time consuming if you have a lot of shredding so would recommend its kept on hand and used for small quantities. Also, the blades do get bunged up with paper and is quite difficult to clear. Other than that its okay.
