Easy Install, works good
Easy Install and worked great on my sit-on-top Pelican Castaway100 (9.5’ and 42lbs). Maneuvers easily, the only thing is that it rocks back and forth a little so I will try and move the location of it since the slight tipping may be due to the keel. It does it’s job, it’s light weight and just made my kayak life much easier.

Nice cart but returned
The cart is nice and well made. There was nothing really wrong with it except like most kayak carts it is low to the ground. I liked the real tires vs the hard plastic tires on other carts. It helps to move the kayak over various terrain easier than the hard plastic tires. I returned the item simply because it was too low to the ground. I have back issues and even though I am short (5’2”) it was too low and made the kayak difficult for me to move. I opted for a taller cart and it made all the difference in moving my kayak without aggravating my back. This is still a great cart and I would recommend it with only the caveat of the height.

I don't recommend this for inflatable kayaks
I bought this to help me transport my inflatable kayak from the parking lot to the lake. And for that purpose, the product has some flaws that were harmful to my kayak.Firstly, the bracket is too close to the wheels. After my first day using this, I had tire marks alongside the bottom of my kayak, and the straps that are used to hold down the kayak were completely shredded. I thought maybe I just had it mounted wrong, nope. No matter how I tried, the bottom of the kayak would rub against the wheels regardless of where it was placed or how inflated it was.Secondly, the craftsman ship on this product is cheap. For the price, it's not worth the money.I would not buy this again. Infact, after our first day I use I have thrown it out and bought a much better product. This is not worth the money.

Works for Pelican Ultimate 100 Sit on Top Kayak
I watched the Pelican instruction video and following that video and the placement it kept collapsing. After about an hour of trying I decided to forget about the video, they show placement at the end of the kayak. My Kayak is only about 40 lbs, so I lift it and place in under the balance point, which on this particular model kayak is just behind the seat. From the side I hold on to the cart and lift the kayak on. Then gently move the kayak to center it. After practicing two or three times at home, I took it to the lake and now it takes about 2 minutes total. I'm glad I didn't give up, works for my needs. From camper to lake and back. Grass, gravel and sand.

Don’t get stuck in the Sand
Pros- Compact can easily be put together and stored on your kayak when paddling.Easily attaches to kayak or canoes.Cons- doesn’t handle Terrain or Sand very well.Gets stuck easily.Included Straps are not great for longer boatsSinching Straps easily broken if you tug too hard.

Great collapsible kayak cart
Bought a couple of these to make it easier to haul our kayaks on the long walk from the parking lot to the kayak launches, and they work wonderfully! The pneumatic tires are perfect for pulling our kayaks over any terrain. Also love that the wheels come off! We got a couple small black duffel bags so we could bring the collapsed carts in our kayaks while out in the water. Definitely recommend!

Not for bigger kayaks
It's small and compact and breaks down for storage, but barely supports my bigger Nucanoe. It's difficult to load and attach the included straps which are not long enough for bigger kayaks. No much ground clearance for any kind of terrain other than mostly flat ground. All of this is to be expected based on the price point.

High quality cart for affordable price!
This is my second Pelican cart and it just arrived. The first one got stolen! I keep looking for someone with all their belongings walking the tracks on the other side of the river! I use this cart I'd estimate around 75-90 days a year. I transport my race boat and my gear about 1/2 mile either to or from the river depending which stretch I paddle. It works perfectly, as expected. Sure beats carrying all that stuff. This carbon race boat in the photo only weighs 17 lbs without all the gear but I have the plastic version of this boat as well for low water and it weighs around 36 lbs and the cart works the same. Great cart, great price! Make sure you buy a cable lock!

Great carrier!
The carrier was extremely easy to put together. It holds my paddle board securely over the 500 meters of various terrain that I have to go over to get to the water. It’s also light enough that I can strap it to my board to take with me when I’m on the water. LOVE IT!!

Deficiencias del producto
Es muy estrecho el espacio para colocar el Kayak, por lo que al movilizarlo se vuelve inestable. Creo que debí comprar el que se adapta a los orificios del kayak (drenajes). Sinceramente no lo recomiendo.

Recommended, so far...
I was looking for a cart with inflatable tires because I go on different surfaces, whereas most carts seem to have plastic wheels now. I can't see plastic being good on hard surfaces. This fits the bill but it is likely heavier than the others. This appears to be sturdy at the expense of additional weight. Only issue I see is that it could be made out of steel, and not aluminum. This could be an issue since I also go into salt water. If you are concerned about weight then this may not be the best bet otherwise it would be fine. Also, if it ends up to be painted steel then try to find an aluminum one.
