Bought a two different irons from amazon, one pursteam iron so bad that amazon gave a full refund and amazon didn't even want the unit back. One Chi iron ended up spitting water after 4 seconds of contact on clothing.We checked to make sure it was a new unit, thank the lord this 200 dollar unit was not preowned. Instructions were clear and it recommends distilled water.Downtime for iron to reheat is the lowest I ever seen. As the title says, press button and steam comes out, no more bs.Bought the 4 year warranty from amazon and now we pray it doesn't break. I'll be back to post here if it does, haha!

Great Iron! Easy to unpack , setup and easy installation. Irons very nicely and heats up fast and the steam is very substantial. Love the light weight iron and it releases wrinkles easily.

I bought this steam iron to replace my DeLohghi steam generator iron. This is the newest and improved “steam iron” it is similar to older steam generator irons. What I like is the fast heat up for use it does not take 20 minutes plus to boil the entire tank of water. Good steam but with all controls on the handle very easy to press the wrong button and shut the iron off. I am returning it for the 1.5L water tank one why, controls not on the iron but on the base. Holds more water which is a bonus but not needed. Both models should have controls on the base while using the 1L model it steamed but used very little water iron glides on any fabric ceramic base is new and improved plenty of steam holes. I like feature of being able to refill the water tank without letting the base cool down. I sew and a good quality steam iron has always been in my sewing room for my family to use as well. If the controls were on the base I’d keep it I’ll try out the larger one and make sure it works for me before returning the 1L one.

This piece of equipment is a vital necessity for a busy person working long hours plus having after work engagements to attend. The need to look refreshed and sophisticated is easily satisfied with in the few minutes turn around from office to out of office gear when using this iron! Brilliant

I had a rowenta with the water tank. This Reliable is a joke. It does not stand on the iron board - never can do! Plus it steams only upright!!!This is a cheap plastic - no though process when they made it - waste of money. Why would anyone who buys an iron tank and wants losts of steam would have any desire for an eco mode - which constantly switches on. Give me a break.Cant even steam while ironing. I cant believe the people who made this didnt try using it first. So many flaws. The media could not be loaded. I read user manual first as there are some preparations like soak new cartridge for 5 min (only first time). Then I added water into iron tank, put cartridge in, and turned iron on. There are 4 functions: 1 without steam and 3 with steam of different strength. I selected 3-of-4 option (with steam but not the most powerful one) and waited for few minutes for the iron to be ready (as first time it can take a little longer - see user manual), I also took old cotton t-shirt for the first use (just to be safe :) and as suggested by manual), and made a few short series of ironing - there was so much steam! I've added video to my review (as well as photo) to show how much steam I've got with that setting. Probably that option will be the one for my sewing projects - and that the main reason of the purchase btw. Very happy so far with the quality and I hope it will serve me for years. Note: model I've got is Reliable 125IS with 1L tank.

My old iron produce more steam than what I thought the upgrade would be. Soaked cartridge for at least 20 minutes and yet still had to wait eternity for it to get hot and produce any steam. Wasn’t able to iron wrinkles on linen shirt
