Really good. Easy to use

Great bit of kit, cuts the hedge superbly and easy to use, it can be heavy with the battery attached but the battery life is super, the thickness of hedge you can cut is small due to the gaps in the blade but it serves me perfectly and the height is super!!!!

Bought to tame a bank of 15 ft high laurel in the garden on the basis that if it lasted one season it would still be cheaper than hiring an extended reach hedge cutter. We're heading into season 3 now and it's still going strong. Although it's a bit rough in general, we found that it held it's charge really well so was easier to just also use in the unextended form than digging out the Husky and that particular previously prized garden toy was rested in the shed all last summer. The only thing I would warn anyone about is that at full extension it is a bit unwieldy if you're a small featherweight like me, although I found that to be the case when trialling the premium brands too. It isn't impossible to use, and I can still achieve nice shaping on the laurel, but I do find myself wishing I liked the gym enough to maybe build some biceps by the time I've finished. All in all, this is amazing value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to replace from the same brand when it eventually needs to be retired.

Very impressed with this machine. Very powerful considering it is battery operated. It does begin to feel heavy after 10 - 15 minutes but a short break and I was able to continue. Given I am 65+ this machine should be no problem for most people. Be aware the battery supplied has a claimed time of 25 minutes not 60 minutes as stated in some of the literature. If you want 60 minutes you will need to order the higher amperage at a cost of circa £65.I found the strap supplied to be very poor quality and not fit for purpose.I would definitely recommend this product.

Had this 8 weeks, exactly as it says in other reviews, putting the battery on charge and get both lights flashing, will not charge the battery. The battery was not drained it still had power in it, but it will not charge.It cut well the first couple of times that it did manage to cut, but the batterys and chargers are faulty, so save your money and go somewhere else as you get 2 charges at best and then its dead.Also brought the leaf blower from the same company 8 weeks ago and it is useless aswell, you get more air coming out of a hair dryer it is absolute rubbish.

I bought this along with the smaller VonHaus Cordless Hedge Trimmer 40V. We have a lot of hedges around our house and I used to pay for them to be cut, but every time they visited, the price kept going up and they would just make-up a price, so decided to do it myself.I already owned a VonHaus leaf vac/blower which I loved, so I was already heading for these products. I did several Internet 'best buy' searches, and even though these don't come out on top, they appear consistently in the top 4 of every search, so it was kind of a 'no brainer'.When fully extended at an impressive 2.72m, the 5kg weight can take a bit of getting used to, but it's easily manageable. Having a battery which also can fit multiple other tools is great also, and I can easily move it from one tool to the other as needed.All-in-all, this hasn't been a let-down and I'm very impressed with it.

Good price, works well, sticks on larger twigs but everything else I’ve tried does too. Battery life is ok. Once it has died I’m pretty happy to move onto another job until it’s charged again. You can buy spare batteries very easily. Overall I’m pretty happy with it.
