Branded replacement cheaper than OEM copies.
I replace my caffitiere pot about twice a year, as I hit the sink tap about that often. Normally I get a non-branded replacement at a cheaper price. This time I got a branded "Bodum" glass - the cheapest item!. You know what? I can't tell any difference and the coffee tastes the same.

Too squat for our existing cafeteria.
Bought this to replace broken one for our medium sized Bodum cafeteria but although this does slide into the frame, it’s way too short and only comes half way down. I’ve looked on Bodum’s own website and it appears they’ve discontinued our size of cafeteria, and therefore any replacement beakers to fit it. Very annoying!

Updated - it broke after 2 years.
Amazon tells me I bought this on 4th April 2020. It broke a couple of weeks ago (April 2022). The old one, which I got from a charity shop, lasted for a lot longer! Worse still, I paid £10 two years ago and now it's £18.50! It would be cheaper to buy a new one.A bit fed up with Bodum, to be honest.Previous review:I cracked the glass on my existing Boden 4 cup coffee maker after many years of use. This new "beaker" fits in the holder. It hasn't broken yet!

Great but not as strong as they used to be
These beakers are great in themselves, but the quality has certainly taken a tumble…time was that they would last until I did something stupid and broke one, but now they seem to last between four and six months before they start to show cracks.

Don't bother it won't last long
I have owned a variety of cafetieres over the years - at home and at work. This is the second replacement beaker I have had to buy for my bodum cafetiere and this one didn't last long either so that three in a short space of time. I have now ditched my bodum, popped to Homesense and bought a whole cafetiere - a good make too - for the same amount of money as a new beaker and so far it seems much more robust.
