Latasil Silicone Sealant Clear

Used this to attach a Carrara marble backspash 42x4x3/4 to the wall. I was worried I was going to have to brace it to hold it against the wall while drying because just setting the backsplash in place on the counter it had a tendancy to lean forward away from the wall, but I put a generous amount on the backsplash then let it set for a few minutes and it stuck immedieately and stayed no bracing required in my case.

took me time to start the project, but once I had, the sealant worked better than anything I had used in the past, and allowed me to finish early enough to enjoy the day.

The first time I ordered, I received expired silicone. I returned it and was sent a replacement. The replacement silicone was also expired. This was completely unacceptable and a waste of my time. I once installed expired silicone and it never cured so I am always careful to check the expiration date, especially at over $20 per tube. It is very unfortunate that the customer service was so poor because the product is excellent.

Seals well, pretty easy to apply. Really was not happy with the opening on this though, for some reason it was super solid and could not be properly opened with the caulk tool. Had to use a nail. I still have a slight leak in my shower, but I don't think it's latisil's fault.

Very good and easy to use for granite countertop and bathroom around the faucet.

There is a 18 month shelf life ,the one i got expires in June 2020
