Ok,I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on TV or anywhere else.However, this specific type of EPA product is almost PURELY EPA without DHA.Where this tends to be useful is the lowering of inflammation. To that end, you and your doctor can take a look at this product and determine how much you should take to achieve a specific effect.If you are looking for a supplement that is mostly EPA without DHA (and there are times you may need that), this is it.GB
