Perfect companion to the Sidetrak.
This was exactly what I needed. For some reason, the software on my laptop would occasionally block out the display port function on my lefthand USB-C port (the one specifically labeled as a Thunderbolt 4 port). Having dropped a huge chunk of change on the dual 14" monitors, it was a soul crushing thing to see 50% of your investment be constantly rendered useless, with the only fix seeming to be completely reloading multiple drivers (and in one instance the BIOS) because of my preferred way of leaving my computer when I'm done using it at my desk (it's the sleep and hibernate features that did it to me). Now, I can plug both monitors into the hub, not have to kick myself for leaving the two HDMI cables in the US because I'm trying to save some weight, and only use one of my two USB-C ports. If you buy the dual monitors, GET THE HUB.

No power in second DP port
I have been using dual side monitors on my laptop for a few years so I work with three screens: 1) laptop, 2) left side monitor 3) right side monitor. To connect to my laptop, the dual side monitors came with 2 of each cable: USB-C, hdmi, micro usb, and regular USB. Unfortunately, my laptop has only two C ports, one for charging laptop and the other for a second screen. So I use one of the C ports to power my laptop and the other C port to transfer data and power to the left side screen, and for the right screen I use an HDMI and micro usb combo for data and power. This USB-C Hub device does not provide power and data transfer to both side screens using the laptop’s 2nd C port, only one. The Hub I received is defective. I switched C charging cables, unplugged All power, restarted and checked connectivity, but I just couldn’t get the 3rd screen to work using this Hub. When I unplugged the Hub I noticed the heat on the Hub was very hot. I only worked with it for 30 minutes trying to get my screens running. Afterwards I setup my double side screens to my laptop using one of the C cables, hdmi and micro usb, and of course my third screen works just fine. I tested the other C cable on both screens and it works fine. Too much money spent for a big disappointment.

Great for dual monitor plus power on the go!
Was not thrilled about the cost but this product delivered the goods. Needed something to travel well, power my laptop, and provide support for two additional monitors when docking at work. This SideTrak did all that while only taking up one USB-C port!!! Have been using it for almost a month and other than only providing 1080p resolution on the external monitors I have no complaints. Could not find any other device in the market place that could do this.

Company will not provide external power needs for their hub
Purchased this about a week ago. Have working but needed extra cables to external monitors to provide power. Since the Sidetrak usb-c Hub has the ability to except an external power supply to power the monitors I thought that I would try that. Have not been able to find a power supply that will work and the Company refuses to answer my question as to what power requirements are needed for their usb-c hub. This has been a waste of money, time and effort. Customer service replied to my 2 emails but their answer was just to use an external power source. Even the 45w power adapter that they sell, states that it will not work with their hub. I thought my question was simply. What are the power requirements needed for this hub.

Doesn’t Work
I was so excited for this product. It’s exactly what I need for my portable work setup. The power will pass through to my laptops but it will not pass video to my monitors. I’ve tried it on both my Mac and Dell laptops. Maybe I have a defective unit.I’d say spare yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere.

Worth the price, drives two high res monitors just fine
Worked great right out of the box. Lets me run two external monitors while charging via USB.A bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Solid build quality, also.

Tested with Xreal AR glasses, Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, Samsung S23 Ultra and more
I tested the Sidetrak USB-C Hub Adaptor, ASIN: B09KTNQLZY with AN S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, Steam Deck. Nintendo Switch with TopWolf dock & PeakDo HDMI to USB-C adaptor/Gofanco HDMI to USB-C adaptor/Fairikabe HDMI to USB-C adaptor. (so far)Note: the Sidetrak USB-C hub does USB-C charge & play with all devices I tested but it's $150 - expensive just to use it for that, but it works. It's intended to work with a laptop Thunderbolt port for output to two USB-C 1080p monitors. I tried it, with mixed results, on a few other devicesAll results below are with two Xreal Air AR glasses which act as basic USB-C 1080p displays.Current Results (I'll test with Xbox Series X and more later):SAMSUNG S-series phones:With the Samsung S22U and S23U it split the video perfectly from Screen Mirroring and DeX but NOT Xreal Nebula - Nebula can display in 1 Air not 2 and it gets buggy with 2 Airs connected. (One time it got IMU data from 1st Air & AR Space showed in 2nd Air) -DEVELOPERS this might be an "alternate controller" hack! For screen mirroring and Samsung DeX there's no additionally noticeable lag, but it only outputs audio to 1 of the Airs (As designed according to an email reply from Sidetrak.)I tested using Bluetooth audio instead, and two separate Bluetooth headphones (or earbuds) can be connected to the S22U or S23U phone at the same time while the video displays, so this use case is feasible. One phone, two Airs, two bluetooth headphones (or hey a bluetooth speaker). The Xreal Airs when connected through the Sidetrak USB-C hub adaptor also can run off the phone battery or you can use a PD power bank or PD wall charger to charge the phone through the hub while powering the Airs simultaneously (charge & play). With 2 Xreal Airs connected I strongly suggest using a power bank. The Steam Deck:In GAME MODE it shows video in only 1 Air at a time. Sound works. Basically, with the Steam Deck's Game Mode it's a more expensive Redmagic adaptor (but see info about Desktop Mode below). If 1 Xreal Air is connected, the other USB-C input port does support other peripherals. I tested with a USB-C connected keyboard and it worked on the Steam Deck while I was using the Airs on the other port.In Steam Deck DESKTOP MODE:The Steam Deck Desktop Mode works with the Sidetrak USB-C Hub Adaptor to mirror the desktop in both Xreal Air glasses (you have to configure the display settings to do it. In display settings just drag and drop one Xreal Air display over the other, then select the main screen drop-down below and disable the main screen to save battery, but sound still only comes out of 1 Air. I fixed that by installing Helvum from the Steam Deck software center.Helvum allowed me to use drag & drop to manage system audio paths. I strongly suggest reading how it works before using it, let alone installing it. Helvum is very easy to use but it's not obvious how it works, so actually read up on it, watch a video, etc. (it doesn't come with help built into the app)I now have 2 Xreal Air AR glasses connected to the Steam Deck via the Sidetrak USB-C Hub Adaptor with audio and video while it charges from a power bank!pThe Nintendo Switch:(I'm curious to see how this would work with 2 Xreal Beams when they start shipping)Using a TopWolf Switch TV Dock ( ASIN: B0BJDQ4M48 - currently sold by "PURBHE" )...and tested with the Xreal HDMI Adaptor, as well as a Gofanco adaptor, Fairikabe cable adaptor, and PeakDo adaptor:Video can be displayed in 2 Airs, but no audio. I did try the Air's HDMI audio mode switch. The Audio volume bar on the Switch itself never shows up.I tried connecting bluetooth headphones to the Switch, and ONE bluetooth headphone can be connected and works, not two.So, in this configuration the 2nd Air can view the video but not hear the audio - unless you use a bluetooth speaker.I hope this helps, and really hope Sidetrak enables a way to output audio to both display connections simultaneously.I'll continue testing and update over time.
