A very nice and attractive watch.Look more expensive than it was.

After researching through many brands and styles I ultimately decided on this Sun & Moon model. This watch is currently listed for about $100 cheaper than on Orient’s website, but after receiving the watch nothing concerns me with this being fake.To start off, I love the sun and moon on this model. The black dial really makes it pop and IMO makes it look cleaner. The silver bezel and band compliments the black nicely.Time gain/loss is roughly ~10-15 seconds a day, so honestly not bad at all given the price point.All in all a quality watch for good value.

I loved the watch initially. It looks great and good value. However, it is the least accurate of all my watches and that is because it is mechanical. The leather strap is stiff right out of the box and needs some breaking in. Legibility with the rose gold markers on the black dial is not the best, but I will say it is one of the most beautiful watches I've owned.

As far as expectation goes, the flurry of glowing reviews for the Sun & Moon series were already plenty, so much so I thought I'd be disappointed. Not so!This Gen 5 does things several things better than previous models. First: the dial simplicity. They may be less detailed, textured, or complex than a previous gen dial, but in no way does that diminish how beautiful the complications are. From that, it tends to straddle a sporty look a little better than the very dressy versions, especially on a bracelet.Second: the size! a reduction from the 42.5mm case and 50ish lug to lug down to 41mm and 48mm respectively has made this version far more wearable for medium sized wrists, despite the depth staying at 13mm, which isn't excessive either. It's a highly comfortable display caseback.Movement is decent looking, but finishing is the same as most machine crafted movements from Orient's entry level models. Crown operation is satisfying and tactile. It's rather quiet - hard to hear the ticking of the movement from the outside unless you're in a very quiet environment, which could make rate measurements rather difficult. It ran about 16 seconds fast per day out of the box, which is acceptable.Overall, pretty good value for what it is, and is both finished and detailed to a higher standard than Orient's entry line.

All signs indicate that this is a genuine Orient watch. It has worked great so far after ~4 months and I have little doubt it would need Orient's 1 year warranty (not applicable to this seller). This is a good seller, but watch out for sales and price changes! I got this for a better price than on the Orient website. Overall very pleased with this new drip. Will be back for others...
