Great flavor, works well with both meat and vegan dishes!as
I love this stuff!I had been searching for a pâté that was similar to this one magical jar I got from a random mushroom selling man on the outskirts of London and this is by far the closest thing to it!It’s got a rich truffle flavor, slightly smokey , and the sunflower oil it’s in isn’t overpowering. In fact most people probably wouldn’t even notice the taste, the only reason I notice it is because I’m comparing it to the jar I purchased in London. It’s definitely not brine-y, there is no tart or sour taste, it’s smooth and delicious. The jar does not leak and it was fairly easy to open.I make all kinds of things with this from salmon and mash to homemade vegan cheese ( my husband is allergic to dairy) and it is AMAZING.Even my non vegan friends dig it.🤫The truffle flavor really stands out! It’s especially delicious if you pair it with a smooth vegan feta like Violife and beet jam on a crusty piece of bread.😍It’s pricier than the one I purchased in London but I’ve paid higher prices for truffle pâté here in the states that paled in comparison so I think this is a good deal for the price.I have looked for that random mushroom man every year for 5 years to no avail, so until I find him and buy as many jars as the U.K. will let me leave with, this one is a great substitute and I recommend it.🤓

LOVE! LOVE!!, LOVE!!!
I absolutely LOVE this Truffle Pate. I have reviewed this product in the past (go ahead and look)-Great on a mushroom pizza. If they had a subscription for this truffle I would be on it as I seem to use it up or bring to relatives when visiting as a hostess gift-of course after we used the first bottle on some brie with crackers. There are many products of truffle out there-and believe me I have tried them. This bar far bypasses any other brand. I do find the black truffle pate more flavorful than the white which surprised me. Latest recipe I used this on was sausage ravioli. Combined some heavy bream with the Truffle Pate as a sauce!! You wont be disappointed in La Rustichella - Black Truffle Patè!

*Shivers at the idea of eating this again*Ew. Just freaking EW, people. I supercalifragilisticexpialidocious love mushrooms and all that encompass it. Yeah, I get it, I'm weird for liking mushroom...but I bet you have a few skeletons in your closet, so, think about that before you judge me on my honesty. Yeah, so, I love mushrooms. One spoonful of this tasted like drinking an entire bottle of cheap capers and I think that's what this really is. These are grody, briney (not the good kind) capers that have sat for waaaaaay too long in the back of those alien imposters' cabinet from The Visit. Actually, these taste like what The Last Airbender by M. Night Shyamalan did to my heart or any of his films between 2008 - 2015. The bottle also leaks no matter what you do. It's not broken, screwed in incorrectly or any mix of the two...it just sucks. It leaked DISGUSTING oil all over my fridge and I debated whether to just burn it or swallow my pride and put on a hazmat suit. I spent too much money on the fridge, so, I made my husband do it. Saving grace to this item, however, if you put a tiny spoonful into any dish, eventually you will use it all and will be able to claw the memory from your mind and cast it *in a whispery Shrek voice* far, far away.

Im addicted and use this almost daily!
I use this on anything and everything. For an incredible sauce(my recipe), mix a tablespoon with a cup of heavy cream, 1/4 cup of margarine, a whole finely diced red bell pepper and a half cup to a cup of mexican blend cheese. Heat on medium heat until the cheese and everything else blends together to make a medium thick sauce,if your sauce is too thin, add more cheese to thicken. Great over sirloin tips, pork, burgers... pretty much every meat or just pasta itself(makes the best macaroni and cheese). I eat this sauce near every day on anything I cook. Very fresh and delicious!
