The adapter clicked straight into both the telescope 1" eye piece and on the Canon xTi and my T2i cameras. It seems well made and I have no fear of loosing my camera due to failure or misalignment causing me to miss good pictures.

I bought another adapter last year, and the first time I was putting it together I dropped it onto carpet. That was enough shock to break a screw and render it worthless. This one is solid, connects perfectly to my Canon Rebel and fits into a standard eyepiece. One thing last year I wish I understood better, once you put it together, you no longer have a focus in the camera, you're using your telescope focus. It seems to be similar to my 9mm eyepiece so use that to focus on the object then put the camera in and fine tune. Great product.

It does what it’s supposed to do. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there is actually 3 set screws holding in a second piece that the threaded “T” base attaches too, and that ring could be off center if not screwed in evenly.

Good product, does what it was made for.
