If possible get the 1TB model
Works great for series S, wanted to store more then 5-8 series X/S games and this does the trick perfectly! If both the 512GB and 1TB are on sale the price difference is usually about 40-50$ more for the 1TB. If you can afford it just get the 1TB model. I don’t regret my purchase because I’m sure at some point they will have a price reduction this essentially doubles the storage on the series S and runs at the same load times as the internal SSD, also as a side note they are “hot swappable” meaning If you buy another down the line you can pop one out and another in while the console is in home menu, I wouldn’t recommend removing it while playing a game from the drive or updating the system… it makes note of this in the instructions. The shipping did take quite a while to get here but the product itself is worth the wait as it allows you to hold about as many series games as the series X will stock and if you upgrade to a series X it should give you about 1.5 TB of fast series game storage. This paired with an external SSD for standard Xbox one and 360 games if you have a lot of those is perfect and suits most peoples needs just fine!

Once you put it in it's so fast
Well it gives you 450 gigs of space which is not bad it's pretty good by my standards I mean I'm on Xbox series s give me a total of 890 space which is pretty good I'm not going to lie I'm happy with my purchase it was a little pricey but who cares it's worth the wait and the money and I would definitely buy again

It's Proprietary & Required
Here's the deal with these, they work 100% as they should and as you'd expect. Plug it into the expansion port and you're off the the races. It's really that simple. Why 3 stars then? Simple: Seagate/Microsoft have you bent over a barrel so they can mark the price up more than double what they should be. A 500 GB M.2 SSD is sub $50, but these things fetch upwards of $150. A 1TB M.2 is generally $100 range, but with these $200 plus. They are really sticking it to the consumer with the pricing, especially if you're a Series S owner.
