Doesn’t work
I just opened the remote and put fresh batteries in it. It turns my projector off but not on.

power buttons do not work
I have a BenQ short throw W1080ST and lost the original controller. I tried this one to replace it, and it does control the unit however the power buttons do not work! That is the most vital feature - so we don't need to turn the projector on/off with a broomstick (which is our current solution - ceiling mounted).We will be going with the OEM remote which is only 10 dollars more.
