For the price it's hard to beat. I used them in a laser engraver and they worked okay. My only complaint was that some of the support rods I ordered had rough spots on them where the sliders took a lot more force to move around on. After sanding them down with fine grit sand paper they were good enough that it wasn't too much of a problem. Still not bad for the money.

Nice lead screw, horrible everything else...
The lead screw and nut I received are great, with little perceptible backlash.However: the rod supports are not correct. The top of the support extends about 1.5mm above the top of the bearing block when assembled, which means that anything attached to the bearings cannot extend past the support unless you add a spacer. This cost me a redesign and a few hours work since I couldn't wait on a replacement. On alll of the other linear bearing / rod / support systems I've purchased, the top of the bearing block was flush with or slightly higher than the support, so that anything bolted to the bearings would slide over the support.(Yeah, I'm getting the technical names for these parts wrong.)One of the pillow block bearings lost a ball bearing before I even assembled the thing.If I had time, I'd return this and ask for an exchange. But, I don't, which is probably what these distributors are counting on.

No quality control.
Do not waste your time like I did. The threaded rod was perfectly straight but neither of the smooth rods was true. Items returned.

The kit is excellent, it has been working for more than a month and everything is perfect.-

Poor quality and tolerance
Poor quality and tolerance. Bearings slide well on one bar but completely grind on the other. One of the bearings slides reasonably well on the second bar, meaning tolerances are all over the place on the bars as well as the bearings. Expect quality commensurate with the price of these items - more or less cheap junk useful only for playing around, not actually building anything useful, even at hobbyist level.
