The retracting feature works best for my job uses.
These are corrosion resistant, I’m a rock blaster and need to be able to pull out my knife, cut and replace it back into my pocket with speed. I’ve used these knives exclusively for about 7 years. They will last longer than the paint that’s on them. Excellent product as long as you need the auto retract feature.

Well built, easy to use.
Really well built piece of kit, even the innards are metal, so it should last.I've been using this as a "daily driver" for 3 months at work now.Work rules demand either a self retracting blade, or a box cutter, this seemed the better choice for me.I use this wearing cold store gloves, it's easy to handle, easy to operate. Though I added the string & Sugru knobble to help remove it from my knife-pocket while wearing thick gloves. In the last week or so, I've noticed the blade jamming on the way out occasionally - could be the cheap quality blades I'm using, but I'm gonna keep using them till they run out. The point of the blade stops dead before it leaves the knife, maybe once for every twenty times I use it. But enough for me to want to fix it.The "top/back" of the blade holder is showing the tiniest bit of wear, so my current fix is to add a sliver of pvc tape that pushes the blade down at the back (and up at the front). Alternatively I could take a needle file to the bottom of the blade slot to see if that resolves the issue.I think if I were using anything better than rock-bottom-budget blades, this wouldn't even be an issue. All in all though, if you need to be using a self retracting knife, this appears to be the best available, well worth the money.

Worst Stanley type knife ever !
Very very disappointed went for a good make and not happy .It said auto retract !! But if does not say it can not be locked out !! To use you have to keep your finger on the button .Next disappointment the blade only comes out of case only 2/3 of the way ! I opened it up as thought it was jammed but that’s how it is !!Last rip off is it states it has spare blades holder inside and not even one spare blade included !!For a quality brand this is very poor .

Blade had rounded tip
In general, this is a good knife, but I was surprised to find that the included blade had a rounded tip.I can see this being a useful safety feature, but for my purposes I would have liked the blade to be sharp all the way to the end.Now that I look closely, I can see the final picture of the produce shows the rounded blade, but the others all show it coming to a point.
