Luckily I bought this as an amazon special @ £19.99. I had read the reviews and the majority of them were positive. BUT I wish I'd took advice from the negative 1's!When I took the toy out of the postal packaging, all looked good. No damage to the box, and the toy was nice and clean.I pressed the "try me" button, it kept playing the same tune over and over, it's head kept moving side to side. 20 mins later, it's still doing the same thing. I couldn't switch it off and I didn't want to damage the box as it was a Christmas present.I rung customer services, told them about the problem and I was advised to dispose of it and I'd get a full refund! I didn't want a refund, just an exchange, but amazon wouldn't authorise it! I was annoyed because I wanted this toy for my niece at Christmas. The price had gone up to £45.99 and I wasn't willing to pay that when the day before I'd got it for less than half that price.After that call, we took the toy out of the box, changed all batteries but it made no difference. The magic wand wasn't working either. The light would not stay on and once it had gone off the only way to get it back on was to remove the batteries and put them back in.There has been so.many technical issues with this toy. I think V-Tech should recall them off the market!

Looks great its a Christmas present but I've heard great feedback from these

It looks big but it doesn't really do a lot. The make up wands it comes with are touch and go regards to working and we ve found we have to play near a hard surface to get them to work. The novelty wore off very quickly with my little girl and she doesn't really play with it now. Very expensive for what it does.

This is a lot bigger than I expected and looks impressive as a gift.There is a demo button which I’ve videoed to show the function and purpose of the unicorn. The sound quality is good and the coloured lights are bright and the colours true. The unicorn moves her head from side to side and blinks her eyes.This is a very fun toy that I’m sure my daughter is going to love.

Got this as a replacement, for one I had bought from another place ,so was worried it would do the same as last one ,but was totally unfounded, as works perfectly, my granddaughter is delighted with it, was well packed ,on arrival not a mark on outside box aswell ,wish I would of got from here in first place !
