I took this directly from Vetoquinol's website: Ingredients in LaxatoneActive Ingredients:White Petrolatum USP, Soybean Oil (providing Omega 3, 6 & 9 Fatty Acids), Light Mineral OilInactive Ingredients:Cane Molasses, Corn Syrup, Gelatin By-Products, Malt Syrup, Maple Flavor, Sodium Benzoate, Water.

Q: What is the expiration date? Guaranteed fresh?

After losing our cat to old age several years ago we decided not to adopt any more pets. As a result we disposed of all our pet related items. I can't answer your questions.

Q: Is the maple flavor the same as original or malt?

There are only 2 flavors if laxatone. The original is maple/malt flavor. The other is tuna.

Q: Why is this product having a label adhered to the package? Is the package not the original? This seems a little weird!!!

We used this for many years however about one year ago our cat would no longer take it. I guess that the product or his taste changed.
